Grand hotel with persons attention to detail.
Pros:

Amazing hotel, walkable to the old town and the parliament building. Great facilities and restaurants. Highly recommend Champions Sports Bar on the first floor. Sabrina and Alex Luka there helped me with a deep dive on local culture and most importantly, local soccer history. Everything was great but those two stood out. I would return in a heartbeat.

Great service culture at the JW Marriott
Pros:

Spent 4 nights recently at the JW Marriott Grand Hotel. A quick note of thanks to the team at the hotel. From the front desk, through F&B, Housekeeping and the Executive Lounge, all team members were client centric, engaged and stuck to the JW Marriott brand promise. Enthusiastic, professional and charismatic are three words that come to mind. Had one negative experience with the “World Class” gym which is owned by an outside firm that runs the hotel fitness centre. I raised the issue with the GM who quickly resolved the issue and went out of the way to confirm my very positive impression of the hotel. Greatly appreciated! If you are a Marriott Bonvoy frequent guest, I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Bucharest.

Clean and tidy hotel with amazing staff
Pros:

The hotel is very clean, large, and impressive. It is conveniently located not far from the city center, with high-quality restaurants nearby. The rooms are spotless and organized in a way we have never experienced before.

The staff was simply wonderful, everyone was eager to help and had a great attitude.

But more than anyone, a young man named Paul helped us. I have never met someone so kind and considerate. He helped us with every little thing and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Even when we got stuck without a way to get back home, he knew how to calm us down and recommended interesting places for us to visit.

If I had a hotel, I would want all my employees to be like him.

Paul, if you see this, I want to say thank you very much — I already miss you.

Bucharest JW Grand Marriott Review
Pros:

Stay was amazing, I travel the world as an international air line pilot and this hotel along with the staff’s level of customer service is unmatched anywhere. Silviu who worked the front and concierge desks went out of his way to make sure every question was answered and made great recommendations for the city of Bucharest. I usually avoid hotel breakfasts but after meeting Namik who served me I had breakfast for the rest of my stay from his level of customer service and warm personality. Silvia who the escorted me to my seat each morning greeted me by my name, again a great level of customer service. Overall this is a great Marriott property and about a quick 15 min walk to the city center. The gym is very good too, sometimes can be crowded as it’s used by locals too. Great property and highly recommend you stay here when visiting the beautiful city of Bucharest.
