Beautiful hotel in a great location. Paul at reception was most helpful on our arrival. We had a wonderful room with a great view of the main church of Bucharest.
Very impressive place with yesteryear grandeur. Front desk (Paul) was pretty helpful in the hotel process as well as his recommendations.
Paul at the front desk has continuously given us outstanding service during our stay at Marriott.

We booked this hotel on a whim while staying overnight ahead of our flight out of Romania. Having spent a number of nights in different Marriott chains around the world, this is truly one of the better Marriotts out there.
The staff were helpful and attentive, the building itself is like a beautiful homage to the palace of the people (which is also just a couple of minutes away), and actually looks more like a museum than a hotel (in a nice way)
The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the old town, 2 minutes from the palace of the people (Romanian parliament) and 10/15 minutes to the Museum of the Peasant.
Overall even though it was a relatively short stay, it met our expectations and would definitely recommend
Wonderful experience! Hotel is central location; excellent dining room (steakhouse) experience… and I don’t often make comments like but front desk team certainly have great political skills in that they calmed down a cranky old man (me) and actually turned what could have been a bad / negative experience into this POSITIVE report! Details: Due to a mistake in our room reservation (Viking Cruise package) our hotel paperwork sent us to the “wrong” room; long day / long bus ride/ many stops on and off (bunch of senior citizens… crankiness increased all day)… key did not open our room door 🥶…. Our assigned room had been changed and my Viking package had not been updated; minor mistake … but remember… cranky old man 😰. Front desk team member Daniel (and Team leader Ahmet ) calmly listened this old geezers complaining and corrected the mistake … I went from angry old man to very satisfied. Thank you to the Hilton team! (Will be sharing this experience with Viking Cruise line… Hilton team saved the day here!)

I surprised my wife with a suite. But when we joined our Viking cruise, we had to link the two rooms and our front desk person, Paul, did a terrific job of allowing us to stay in the surprise suite while also being in the Viking paid room. He went out of his way to make that happen and at a fair.

Absolutely lovely approach from the staff, nice location, beautiful and tidy room . So quiet and exactly what we needed after our trip. Atmosphere in the hotel - Easter mood on . Especially thanks to Paul, the front desk team member , so helpful and supportive during our stay. Highly recommended !
