Not many hotel options in Marl, so take it or leave it.
Pros:

The staff were very nice, especially Mike at the front desk. Breakfast was better than expected.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit small and no place to open our luggage.

Als het matras beter was geweest OF als er een alternatief voorhanden waa geweest dan was het ern 7+ geweest, maar nu ee
Pros:

Ruime kamer, schoon, ontbijt prima, laden voor de deur (electrische auto), vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Matras was ronduit erg matig, voor mij veel te zacht en er was geen alternatief voorhanden of een topper of iets dergelijks. Ik heb twee hierdoor 2 slechte nachten gehad.
Het hele hotel was erg 2002 qua inrichting, heeft een refurbishment nodig om weer bij de tijd te zijn. Kan meteen de badkamer ook meegenomen worden. Deze was mooi schoon maar alles was te krap, door het verlaagde plafond moest ik bukken om onder de douche te komen.

Beim nächsten Mal schauen wir uns intensiver nach Alternativen um.
Pros:

Parken inkl. AC-Laden OK;
Frühstücksbüffet gut.

Cons:

Das Zimmer wurde am Sonntag 29/3 nicht gemacht, keine Handtücher gewechselt und kein Toilettenpapier nachgefüllt. Bei Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass das dann morgen wieder gemacht wird: das war unser Abreisetag, also in keinerlei Hinsicht hilfreich für uns.

Auf Nachfrage wurden uns dann allerdings Handtücher und Toilettenpapier gebracht, nachdem uns erst vorgeschlagen wurde ich könnte ja runterkommen und die Handtücher und Toilettenpapier holen.

Auf meine Booking.com Nachricht wurde uns dann unter Anderem Folgendes mitgeteilt:

“…………An Sonntagen findet in unserem Haus keine reguläre Bleiberreinigung statt……”

Dies hätte eigentlich schon vor der Buchung mit einem deutlichen Hinweises kommuniziert werden müssen. Auch später gab es keinerlei Informationen dazu bis zur Rückkehr und Überraschung im Zimmer am Sonntagabend.

Es gab zwar in der Nachricht eine Entschuldigung, aber dafür beim Auschecken die Bemerkung: “da hätten sie ja nachfragen können”. No comment!

Keinerlei Kulanz, zumal auf anderen Buchungsseiten "Tägliche Zimmerreinigung" aufgeführt wird.

“……..Vielen Dank, dass Sie uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben. Ihr Hinweis hilft uns, unseren Service und die Kommunikation gegenüber unseren Gästen weiter zu verbessern…..”
Zumindest auf der Webseite konnte ich bisher keinen Hinweis dazu finden.

Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr ganz neu, und die eine oder andere Reparatur (Vorgänger Zimmertür, Hygienebeutelbox ankleben) und Farbe auf Decke und Wänden könnte nicht schaden.

Betten nicht sehr gross; die Gänse auf dem See können Nachts ein wenig laut sein.

Basic hotel met goed ontbijt
Pros:

Prima hotel met lekker ontbijt. Kamer basic maar een goede prijs-kwaliteit. Gratis parkeren en op loopafstand winkelcentrum.

Cons:

Bedden zijn erg laag, maar op zich geen probleem.
