What I didn't like; wrote in wrong area. Sewage back up in my shower and bathroom room sink every morning. I was told the hotel was booked. I tired to move to the only one room available and someone was blasting music and I couldn't stay there. I was told a plumber would come fix and never did. I reported to front desk twice and had to clean raw Sewage my self. I paid 1,289 for my stay. Very disappointed. Im also disabled and had to clean the Sewage myself since the front desk said they couldn't. I've stayed here many time and have spend thousands of dollars and this was disappointing. The tash room had so my trash i couldn't walk in to dispose my trash.

The location was decent.
The hotel room had no kitchen or bathroom items, not even shampoo or plastic cups. You had to ask the front desk staff for EVERYTHING. This was very inconvenient since they were not able to bring anything up to your room. As a guest I had to collect carry all the kitchen items up to my room. I felt as though I was imposing on the staff even though I'm paying a premium for the room. The room was also not clean when I checked in. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. They use cheap, scratchy linens on the bed. No streaming capability on the very small television which was constantly losing signal. Not worth the cost. It had a cheap and dirty feel, but unfortunately was not cheap.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in July 2026 with our toddler, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
At check-in, we were informed that housekeeping is provided only once a week rather than daily. Traveling with a toddler, we expected at least the option of daily room cleaning, as maintaining a clean room is especially important for families with young children.
The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and left me with significant back pain during our stay. The blankets and comforters also did not seem fresh and had an unpleasant odor.
We repeatedly had to visit the front desk to request basic necessities such as extra toilet paper and towels, which became inconvenient over a multi-night stay.
The complimentary breakfast was one of the worst we’ve experienced. It consisted mainly of coffee and stale, seemingly old muffins, with very limited options.
The biggest concern, however, was the safety and cleanliness around the property. On multiple occasions, we saw homeless individuals staying just outside the main entrance. We also noticed what appeared to be human waste near the front lobby area, creating an unsanitary and uncomfortable environment for guests, especially families with children.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, service, or safety. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel, particularly to families traveling with young children, and I would not choose to stay here again.
So 4 months ago our house flooded then we had to move to this hotel for a little. They were very accommodating. The hotel was clean. They clean very often.

The location was good, in a safe area. Very important in Oakland.
The walls are paper thin. The beds are on the same wall and the man next door was snoring so loud it was difficult to go to sleep.
Very accommodating when we got there early after a long flight, allowed us to change and store our luggage until room was ready.
Breakfast wasn’t worth getting. Coffee,porridge sachets and cake on offer.
The view
They "upgraded " me to a room with a view. But did not have a queen size bed. No ice machine. Bed felt like a pull out bed. Not comfortable.

Breakfast. Advertisement showed eggs and possibly meat. I experienced yogurt coffee muffins oatmeal. I passed!

Outdated, bad sound proofing, and so inconvenient! No coffee, tea, or water in the rooms. You have to specifically ask to have even a mug! Will not be returning
Easy for one night stay
Staff seemed to be just doing the minimum. Morning person was on her blue tooth talking continuously on a personal call.
What made the trip was the helpful and friendly Dora Munoz at reception.
