Really great hotel! Staff fantastic, great location. I was very pleased with my room.
We had a wonderful time! The hotel and staff were excellent. Jo Kinsella at the front desk was especially thoughtful and made sure our grandson had coloring supplies at his birthday celebration! Could not have asked for a better hotel experience.
While our stay was very short, we found the hotel to be absolutely lovely, with a great location, beautiful rooms, and a friendly and helpful staff. If given the opportunity, we will happily stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel overlooking Bryant Park. We upgraded to the park view suite which was perfect for working as well as sleeping. Great bed and nice robes and the view is always interesting and fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in the doorman always helps with the big beautiful doors and the front desk folks all very helpful. Great location to so many coffee shops and restaurants and easy walk to almost everywhere.
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms, with high ceilings and windows, are well appointed and spacious for New York. The bathroom is luxurious with a deep tub and nice amenities. I tried the restaurant Koi both for breakfast and dinner and it was very good. I also went to the lounge Celon to hear their featured jazz music, which is a really great plus. Another plus is the location— walking distance from two Broadway Plays that I was seeing, Grand Central Station, and great shops on 5th Avenue. But the most important thing I want to point out is the service. When I walked in John, the desk manager greeted me by name and was continually warm and helpful throughout my stay. I had one issue—the building was being renovated and my room was so loud in the afternoon because of jackhammers. This could have been a dealbreaker as I needed to do an important meeting in my room. I went to the desk to ask to change it and Siobhan, who I believe is the manager, guided me to a quiet place in the closed lounge. She brought me water, set me at a table with power for my computer, and offered to bring me anything. I needed. This extra service and attention is what made this hotel so special. Amy hotel can have a problem — it’s how the hotel deals with it that makes it spectacular. I don’t normally write long reviews, but this Hotel is deserved. I hope to stay here when I’m back in New York.
Everything about our week-long stay at the hotel (other than the freezing cold weather outside) was perfection. We stayed in a renovated park view studio suite and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the future. The room is bright with an amazing view of Bryant Park. The furnishings are beautiful with a super comfortable bed, working table (with the view), and everything running quietly (the heating system, mini-fridge, etc....(I'm sensitive to noises). Housekeeping did an outstanding job of making up our room and accomodating any requests. Mini-muffins greet you next to the elevator in the lobby in the morning. The Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel is great and one of the most happening restaurants you can imagine and the bar area downstairs in the hotel absolutely beautiful. Everyone who worked at the hotel who we met was incredibly lovely and helpful - from folks opening the doors to reception. It is just such a well-run hotel on every level. And the size of the hotel is perfect - not tiny and not institutional at all - just right. In fact, everything was right about the stay and can't wait to return.

Lovely, great location and vibe. Restaurants close and everything is walking distance. Rooms were on point. Can't wait to visit again.
A really lovely hotel in an amazing location in mid town, ideal for exploring different areas of the city
Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Jo Kinsella who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a special one. We've been to New York quite a few times both as a couple and as a family and would definately return to Bryant Park Hotel
Thank you to everyone x
Overlooking Bryant Park: fantastic location! 5 minute walk to Grand Central, 10 minute walk to Times Square, the Theater District, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. The remodeled rooms are tasteful, roomy, comfortable, and offer a lot of light, so I enjoyed working there during the day while my daughter was auditioning at Pearle Studios in the Theater District. The staff was the best, personable, helpful and friendly. We struck up a conversation with Jo at the front desk, and she was very encouraging to my daughter during our visit. Shout out to Jo from Ireland!
I recommend eating at the Bryant Park Grille, right across the street and overlooking the park (you don't have to go far to have a great meal experience). Another great meal/drink experience is The Grand Brasserie, in Vanderbilt hall in Grand Central Station.
The only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is because of the lobby, which is currently under renovation and a sad sight. There were only 2 uncomfortable benches to sit on. The staff kindly offered to open the lounge in the basement, but who wants to sit in a dark lounge during the day when you are in NYC! If the lobby reno resembles the rooms, it will be a huge upgrade. I have traveled to NYC many times, and I recommend this hotel if you want a central location in Midtown.
Thanks to the great staff!
We were looking for a different hotel to stay at for our next visit to New York, we always use TripAdvisor and decided to stay at The Bryant Park Hotel after reading all the reviews. I am very happy to state that we were not let down and were extremely happy with our visit.
From the moment you arrive the customer service is excellent, the front desk is very welcoming and they cannot do enough for you and I have to give a special mention to Josephine (Jo) who looked after us throughout our stay.
We had a suite which was clean ,beautifully furnished with a large bathroom with a bath and walk in shower.
We overlooked Bryant Park with a great view of the winter market, its ice rink, stalls etc. The location could not be better for a Manhattan stay.
I would recommend and look forward to our return.
Wonderful stay. Wonderful staff. Very helpful. Very convenient location. I would highly recommend.
front desk staff, (cannot recall their names, Brunette hair lady, and tall & thin handsome man)were very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and attractive, location was perfect.
