Breakfast just needs grits
Bigger elevator
Good breakfast
No hot water room had foul Oder and worn carpets bathroom door damaged
The room was very clean. Excellent
Breakfast wasn’t as good as most Holiday Inn Express stays. Not as much to choose from
Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay.
TV didn’t have an ability to have a guide for stations or to interface with Netflix, prime, etc. Bathroom sink didn’t drain.
Nice stay for the weekend. The breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was nice and clean.
Cleanliness
Fighting at the Waffle House next door
To be located near the highway the hotel was quite. It was very clean and located in a perfect spot. The breakfast is amazing along with the staff. From check in to check out the staff made you feel welcomed.
Extra linen for the sleeper couch had to be requested from the front desk instead of readily in the room.
Staff were great. Included breakfast was one of the best we have experienced.
The lobby is clean. The 2 personnel who oversees the breakfast are the best. The cleanest well kept area in the whole hotel. The breakfast was well supplied and not a crumb was seen anywhere. The floors in that area are spotless. Now from there it was the worst kept Holliday Inn I have been. I have stayed in a hundred plus Holiday Inns. My husband has been a member for greater than 25 years. We were sent to the second floor to room 218. We got off the elevator and looked at each other. They were doing renovations to the walls. Nobody even bother to clean up the scrapings from the walls. You just walked on them. Our door would not open as I heard a chirping coming from the room. So the manager came up and let us into the room. I saw the carpet in that room. It was beyond dirty and an alarm was chirping loudly. I noticed how dark the room was. So she got us a new room in 106. The same problems with this room except the chirping. Again you just cannot get by the filthy floor. The dark walls. Poor lighting. The couch you did not dare sit on. My husband, who was very tired from driving, said to me that I have stayed in worst overseas. It was 10:30 pm. I never slept all night because of feeling I was somewhere where no one should have been. We did not even have 2 wash cloths or a mat. Evidently that is a problem here also. One staff member said, we are offered free nights here and we have refused. The carpets have not been cleaned for months. My husband or I never let our feet touch the carpet. I found out the third floor has been renovated. There should be no one staying in the rooms remaining. It is unhealthy. Holiday Inn should be shamed of charging their customers for such a poor environment. Maybe looked at who is not doing their job. No excuse!
The room was nice.
We expected the pool to be available since it was an indoor pool. It being closed was not at all mentioned on the booking site.
