The breakfast was alright I can't say much as I only had cereal

The pillows and the bed are great here! Not lumpy like some other places. Had best sleep in this hotel than have ver had in a hotel

Would stay here again. Absolutely spotless when we visited. Rooms small but comfortable and had everything we needed.. The breakfast included was quite good, staff friendly and amenities (swimming pool, fitness centre) were modern and again, spotless.

Was happy with my stay here, and would stay again if ever in Fort McMurray. Staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Oatmeal was of the instant variety though.

I really enjoyed my stay at the TownePlace Suites in Fort McMurray. My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and nice. I also enjoyed my dinner at the Lobby Bar + Lounge at the adjacent Microtel. I will definitely stay here on my next business trip!

Hotel is clean and nice. It is located close to HWY 63 and that is a very busy highway 24 hrs. I barely slept due to noise of trucks taking off from the street lights close to the hotel.

Thy even came and cleaned the room well I was there unlike other places that don’t come clean until you leave

Stayed at Towneplace Suites in Fort McMurray in December and it was a very good Stay. The hotel is or feels brand new. Lots of parking around the hotel. Big lobby where you can do some work and watch tv. The room/suite was spacious for my needs, and room was clean and modern. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The fitness room is kind of small but its good if there are only few people.. the only thing I would like to see is some film on the windows as people from the lobby can see inside the fitness room and it feels like you are a fish in a fishbowl when you just want to work out. The location is good if you want to be near the airport but its kind of in the middle of nowhere, there is a burger king, gas station with convenience store, and mcds across the street. The free breakfast is great and they actually have real cutlery which is great.. can't stand using cheap wood forks and knives in some places. Good stay, good experience.

Extremely tiny “suite” room. Supposed to be a one bedroom suite however upon arrival we were stuck in this tiny room, for 3 people. So small that the sleeper couch and king bed are touching when the sleeper sofa is unfolded.
Staff wouldn’t move us to another room because it was an Expedia booking. Offered no accommodation or help at all. Just “too bad, it’s Expedia and call them”.
Lousy service and ridiculous price for $199 per night!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received tonight, November 29,2024. At 5:45pm , I contacted the front desk to request a late check out and was assisted by Mariel. She said that she would check and get back to me. However, after waiting for an extended period, finally she called me back at 7:30pm informed me that a late check out of 3pm was not possible due to hotels full capacity and my NON-ELITE membership status. I felt that her response was discriminatory and expressed my concerns. Unfortunately she hang up the phone without even telling me. Antonio, called me back, reiterating the denial with the same attitude. I clarified that I totally understood the denial, but was questioning the discriminatory manner in which guests were treated. I questioned the staff’s behaviour and expressed my hope that Management would address this issue before it’s getting worst and happened to other members/ guests. In contrast, I always had positive experiences with Nicole and Flor and it is disappointing to encounter staff who do not provide the same level of service. This location has the potential to be the best in Fortmc Murray, only without this kind of Frontlines people.
