Great staff and location
This hotel needs some updates. Shower was rusty, hallway smelled old and musty by the stairs.

It was outdated, outside of lobby everything looked old tired and the rooms smelled.
The construction on the roads getting us there was awful.

Toilet seat was broken, shower door was broken. TV remote did not work even after we got it replaced. Cracks in the ceiling, dirty bathroom where some things weren't cleaned correctly. For what I $486 for one night i expected a better room than what I had. Staff was nice and friendly but it definitely was not worth the price they charged for one night. Had a previous IHG hotel booked for holiday inn for a way lower rate and something was wrong with my reservation so at the last minute I booked this hotel. Which is also a holiday Inn.

Location of hotel was great! Breakfast was in a very pleasant, large room. Food was hot or cold as expected. The staff took GREAT CARE of the area to make it clean and pleasant. The bacon was actually crispy—and so wonderful. Bananas were as green as on trees. Why couldn’t they be ripe? Breakfast was best part of the stay. The beds were VERY comfortable.
Our room looked a bit like it “had been something else” in a previous life. There was space where furniture had previously been and was no longer there. We asked for a ‘comfortable chair’ to be brought to our room. The front desk assured us they would bring one from the lobby in a few hours. When we returned to our room a few hours later, we saw that a DESK CHAIR 😠 with wheels had been placed in the room for us! We had trouble accessing the internet port near the desk and some of our chargers either didn’t work or were extremely slow, which was frustrating.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Outstanding service from Noelia in the breakfast area and Richea that cleaned the rooms. Breakfast was pretty good every morning. I really liked the cheese egg omelets and the bacon. Coffee was great.
The room next to me was a bit up late after 11pm talking and you could hear them.

Location, and room location. Staff were polite.
The shower leaked water over the entire bathroom. The room was dirty. Shower hadn't been cleaned out as evidenced by an earring on the floor. The bed was lop-sided and slanted, the room smelled awful like smoke and urine. We've stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses as members all over the county. This was no where near how others have been. This was an embarrassment to the Holiday Inn Company.
