Well below my expectations for this price point! The ocean view I was expecting was through dirty windows, rusty screens and janky cheap window coverings that were junk. No patio for a sunset view like some of the other offerings just down the street. The shower curtain rod was broken, the baseboards were dirty, the microwave had food in it and the countertop needed to be repainted since it wasn't even Formica and the bed needs a new mattress. The concrete garden seating was broken and exposed rusty rebar. The staff never even asked how the room was. It was clear the room was tired and the property has not been updated or maintained very well and housekeeping does the bare minimum. I would not stay here again until the room price is below $100 a night and my fiance will not stay here again, ever…
Location- right across the street from the beach; hot tub, and fire pit; fireplace in the room;
Swimming pool wasn’t available as it was being worked on; troubles with the Wi-Fi connection;
This is a family, dog-friendly, small, comfortable room for a restful stop on the road. It's easy to find with a good location near the coastal walking path.
Stayed in a deluxe king oceanfront room. SUPPOSED to be one of their best rooms. Was terrible. I understand it's rated as three-star, so didn't expect a lot, but this was HORRIBLE. Filthy, worn-out furniture, lumpy old back-killer mattress but mostly FILTHY. The floor had NOT been cleaned... at all. Sand all over & visible bits and pieces of debris from prior guests visible on floors and more along edges and in corners, particularly the bathroom. NOT three-star.
We had nice stays there years ago, this was dramatically different in the worst way.
Great location. Cute and clean hotel. Our only problem was that the mattress and pillows were old and lumpy so we didn't get good sleep. Also, there was no air circulation because there was no AC or fans.
Smuk lokation lige ved vandet og promenaden. God seng.
Ingen vand i poolen. De afbillede stole og bål var ikke at se. Kedelige værelser, lidt outdated. Lang gåtur til hovedgaden.
The room was great.
Ice machine was to far.
We had a wonderful stay. Right across the street from the beach walking trails and marine life!
I have visited Cambria countless times and usually stay elsewhere, which I recommend. I had not stayed here in years, but everything was booked for the 4th so I had to stay here. It has gone way downhill. Front desk smells like weed. In fact the whole place does. Pool is empty with trash at the bottom. No breakfast anymore, just really bad coffee and hot water that is discolored and has coffee grounds floating in it. Pillows are very lumpy and uncomfortable. My friend arrived to her room the day before me and said “bring pillows. It’s bad” and she was right. It’s a very bare bones kind of experience. FYI They go on a break and close the front desk right at check in time, so a line forms outside. You have to check in later so you get even less for your money.
Location was excellent, quiet and comfortable.
Didn’t clean our room the whole 5 days so we had to ask for more TP and had to request more coffee daily.
Just stayed here over 4th of July weekend. The property has a great location, directly across from Moonstone Beach and the ocean. Unfortunately, the amenities and service are lacking. Wi-fi is slow. Lodge says they have coffee and tea in the lobby daily from 7:30AM to 11AM, but when I went at 7:36AM the attendant said they were out. Also, our key cards were mysteriously deactivated after 11 AM, and I had to return to the office and have both key cards reactivated. There are many options for lodging near the beach, but I won't be back to this one.
The room is clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect.
There were not enough cups or creamers in our room and that happened in previous years and going to the office sometimes they say they’re out of the liquid creamer
Location and room size
There was a sewer smell coming out of the sink
