Train is very loud but other than that the place is perfect.
Lovely property in down Bryan. Attentive staff, very clean and comfortable. Nice amenities. Restaurant Ststion 26 was excellent. Highly recommended this property.
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.
Nice hotel! Friendly staff
Like that it was in the old town part of town. The court yard was a pleasant surprise, nice sitting areas, clean and convenient .The unique (old) structures were interesting. No shopping in the area, and limited eating establishments. It is predominately used by the younger (college age) folks as a gathering area in the bars and pizza restaurants. There is trains that use the tracks right by the hotel and although they are loud when going by, the limited amount of trains just made it part of the atmosphere.
The hotel was beautiful but every 2-3 hours there is a train that passes so it’s loud. The hotel offers ear plugs Unfortunately our room did not lock and being with girls only I didn’t like that. The hotel offered to move us to another room but
The place is beautiful and elegant without being pretentious. The decor is on point with a very nostalgic feel. It is like entering a hotel in the 30s. Just gorgeous. I love that the integrity of the design remained. The only thing I would suggest is getting valet parking. It is a bit uncomfortable to get there and carry all your luggage from a block away because there is no actual hotel parking or valet. It still didnt deter me from giving them a perfect score. I would visit again.
Boutique style updated hotel with spacious rooms! Had everything we needed. Restaurant downstairs (Station 36? can’t remember the name) was delicious and staff was attentive and polite. Definitely recommend!
Great place, everyone was awesome and location was very good
The nicest rooms and, best staff!
We stayed two nights and surprised our room wasn’t cleaned nor given clean towels for day two.
Clean rooms. Clean hotel. Decent area of Bryan.
However room had a slight musty odor.
And let’s not tip toe around the single biggest issue here: the train.
It is bone shaking loud and we were on the opposite side of hotel farthest away.
Expect anywhere from 3-6 train trips at night. Yes… at night.
Thursday seems to be the worst with 6 trips from 10 pm to 6 am.
Second issue is parking. There is a decent sized lot that is a half block away from hotel. It’s behind another converted restaurant.
1) it isn’t obvious.
2) it isn’t gated and anyone can park there
3) it’s suuuper dark at night.
4) if it’s raining or oppressively hot… lol have fun.
Attached restaurant was good to decent. The drinks were fantastic.
Breakfast never opened up on time.
I like the revitalization efforts in downtown Bryan. It has great potential.
This hotel would be fantastic without the train and bizarre parking.
My God… the train.
Wow !! We loved the decor and the vibe! Staff was so friendly!! Wish we would have been able to stay more than one night! The train didnt bother us at all!
A quick trip for a family event, but it was magnificent! The hotel was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again!
Wonderful visit but be warned. :)
First, yes the hotel is in the center of town, yes, the hotel is near the train tracks. Just like any other small town on a railway. If you are a late sleeper, use the provided ear plugs. The first trains, that I heard, came a little before 0600. I was already into my first cup of coffee.
The hotel is near the old town city center. Pleasant walking distance for the restaurants and businesses. Easy parking. Decor is upscale, mid century, and in great shape. Hotel cleanliness was topnotch. The staff all seemed to be focused on customer service. Some were a little newer in their roles but clearly aiming to please. Checkin was pleasant and quick. The front desk representative had many great suggestions for our evening. She was clearly management material! The lobby bartender was the perfect host to kick off our group's night out. She also was management material!
We plans to use again on our next trip town.
train was a bit loud
This hotel was completely renovated in 2024. So some of the pictures you might see are from before that. It is a very modern style boutique hotel. It is located in downtown Bryan so there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. This is one of the only hotels that is in an area like this in Bryan College Station. Everywhere else, you're going to be walking along a major highway or an extremely busy road. If you don't like walking and prefer drive-thrus and shopping centers, then maybe you won't like this area. This is for people that really love to support small businesses and really enjoy exploring communities they are visiting. I would recommend this place for singles or couples.
I stayed at this hotel on Valentine's Day. I went to the onsite restaurant to eat dinner. I was a solo this trip and they refused to serve me any food other than the $150 prix fixe menu for two. I was allowed to order that only. When I contacted management, they stated all tables were reserved. That was incorrect because I was given the option of ordering the $150 priced food at the bar. They easily could have accommodated singles at the bar. I had to go elsewhere for dinner. Then when filling the bathtub with water, there was quite a bit of dirt in the tub from the water. Then I thought, I had dirt in my coffee this morning. Utterly disgusting. I had reservations for more stays here but cancelled them all. I will never be back.
Clean and cute!
The is a beautiful boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Excellent staff and yummy room amenities. Right off of the lobby is Station 36 restaurant offering outstanding food.
