Lovely place xx

Cons:

Wedding hospitality people bit abrupt
When asked for a orange juice after wedding as all jugs empty
And told no no more
And Clean glass told no!
Then some appeared.

A wonderful couple of days celebration with friends and family , helpful and friendly staff and great location.
Pros:

We had a wonderful two days of celebrating a very special birthday, organised by Emilia, the hotel’s sales and event co-ordinator. A Devon tea with friends and a lunch with friends and close family the following day , all in a dining room booked for us , everything went fantastically . We stayed at the hotel and staff were all very kind and helpful, anticipating what we needed in what was a very busy holiday weekend , nothing was too much trouble , the food was perfect, all selected beforehand and places of guests set out . They coped with 4 young children as guests without ever looking phased or stressed .

The communication by Emilia and responses to my many queries were always prompt and delivered in a friendly and professional manner

The rooms we stayed in were comfortable , well equipped and very clean. The pool and spa area were also well placed with a bar providing drinks and light meals .

The hotel’s location is ideal for travelling from any direction via M20 or M25, being only a couple of miles from Swanley but it’s also off from the main road up a driveway with woods and gardens giving it a feel of being secluded and peaceful.Ideal for a few days breakaway or big celebration. Highly recommended

Amazing Conference venue
Pros:

Great events team, beautiful grounds, clean, amazing service from the whole team. We chose this venue for a work event and it was by far our best yet. The team, especially Arshu and Chris were attentive to detail and helped to make the whole event run smoothly. Thank you!

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in fantastic surroundings. Clean, and comfortable. We didn't use any spa facilities, we only stopped there as we were passing through. The receptionist was excellent and went above and beyond to explain every detail. Little disappointed with breakfast though, both the food and staff could have been better.

Restaurant let down the whole experience!
Pros:

I had booked as a surprise Spa Day with treatments for my Husband and I, to celebreate our Anniversary
When we arrived to the Spa reception, the lady that greeted us was very thorough and explained about the facilities etc
She explained that we had 2 afternoon teas booked, to which I showed her my confirmation email confirming it was 1 afternoon tea and 1 two course lunch. She said she would update this on her side and took the details of what my husband was going to have for lunch
We arrived to the restaurant for our lunch and it went downhill from there. We were seated and waited for our meals to arrive. The waitress bought over 2 soups and I explained that I had afternoon tea to which she didn't seem to sure about. The soup was watery, cold and no seasoning that my husband had.
He finished his soup and I still hadn't even been shown the menu to choose my teas. I asked the waitress to bring the menu over and she came back to say that they didn't have me down for afternoon tea, so I showed her my confirmation email. She then walked away and 10mins later another person came and asked me to confirm my name and on the print out I could see it said afternoon teax2. I explained that we had told them at the spa reception and was told it would be updated.
I then had to ask for the menu again as it still had not come and when it finally was handed to me, the waitress gave me the menu and straight away said "what tea would you like"? I had to explain that she had just given me the menu and I had barely even a second to read it!
Within a couple of minutes I had someone come over again asking what tea making this feel more pressured rather than a relaxing lunch!
Then when the afternoon tea arrived, one of the sandwiches was different to what was on the menu (it was coronation chicken instead of chicken and pesto as per the menu I was provided). I have a mild allergy to sultanas so I explained to the new waitress who had come over that I could not eat this and it was different to what was on the menu. She (Jade) kindly offered to change the sandwich to one of the egg ones and also offered to swap the sultana scone to a plain one. At no point did the original waitress ask about allergies.
The service was slow and with it not being that busy, this was not what we would've expected.
It actually left a really bad feeling as throughout the lunch I was just frustrated and not happy with the level of service being provided.
Paying close to £400, this is not what we would expect nor should we have to pay so much and be left feeling like it was a waste of money
The 3 beauty therapists we had for our treatments were really good and professional so I would like to say thanks to Lillie, Grace and Mozianne and also Jade at the restaurant

I would not come back here purely because of the staff
Pros:

Clean and nice food

Cons:

The staff in the spa was very rude and not accommodating. I paid for two 40 minute massages and was only 30 minutes. When I complained about the short massage she said she can give a discount for another massage but I wanted a full one and then spoke to me very rude

Not the best
Pros:

Not a lot

Cons:

Hotel quite dated and needing a very good clean had to pay extra for the spa where nowhere is advertised the spa is charged separate so cost us an extra £40 to have a swim, half the jets in the swimming poolwasn’t working, the hairdryer in our room was burnt out when we plugged it in it made a terrible noise and filled the room of smoke!

Great service and value, but facilities need improvement
Pros:

We stayed for one night and overall felt it was good value for money, especially as we were kindly upgraded to a king room on arrival without asking, a really nice touch.

The staff were a real highlight. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and Grace on reception in particular was excellent, so helpful and genuinely lovely, a real credit to the hotel.

The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful, and our room was clean with a really comfortable bed.

However, there were a few issues that let the stay down. The hotel is quite dated in places and would benefit from some updating, particularly the spa facilities. The therapy pool was only partially working in the evening and not working at all the following day, which was disappointing, and the upstairs pool was quite cold.

Our room was also very hot with no option to control the temperature, even with the window open. In addition, we had an interconnecting door to the neighbouring room, which meant we could hear them talking clearly late into the night. Unfortunately, by the time this became an issue it was too late to request a move.

While it was good value for the price we paid and the staff were fantastic, the issues with the facilities mean we wouldn’t choose to return.

A relaxing and good value stay with fantastic staff, just let down slightly by the spa facilities.
Pros:

We were really pleased to be upgraded to a king room on arrival without asking – such a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Grace on reception was especially brilliant – so helpful and genuinely warm, she is a real credit to the hotel. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, making it a very relaxing stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and overall it felt like great value for money.

Cons:
