Tired, dirty, noisy. Receptionist did not car about the lack of sleep due to delivery lorries directly outside my room window all night.
I stay at this hotel regularly and it delivers great service and clean rooms with a great breakfast every morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Clare and Graham who recently helped me out with a refund related to a booking issue. They really could not have been more helpful and certainly went the extra mile for me, it was very much appreciated.

Parking close and convenient
Great location, easy to find via satnav. Close to M1 motorway junction, so was convenient to get to Sheffield for the event we were attending.
Check in was quick and easy.
Room was big enough and had what we needed. The only thing that seemed a bit odd was there was only two bath towels, no hand towels in the bathroom.

Beds were basic, room to hot, lots of external noise, poor breakfast, basic cheap food
I have stayed at plenty of Hotels but this is by far the worst j have ever stayed at with even worse staff who are very aggressive and Amir refused to serve us, saying that the kitchen was closed well before 9 o’clock in the evening
Please be warned and do not stay here! You only need to look at the photos to see how bad this place is

Great stay at ibis not far from derby and crich tramway village or centre of Chesterfield lots of free parking restaurant on site which I didn't use so don't know what it's like all though it looked impressive reception large clean and adequate friendly staff my room was on ground floor twin accessible luxurious comfy beds tv coffee tea facilities desk and chairs clothes rail radiator and more good lighting bathroom clean and full of rails and powerful shower and clean white towels

Very old fashioned hotel. Bed was very squeaky and old spring mattress not comfortable at all. Only good thing is staff were friends and close proximity to harvester which was convenient. Overall not bad for the price but wouldn’t come back again. Bed was awful. No aircon and loud people walking down halls all through the night for some reason ???

Great, friendly welcome from reception staff. Good access to room - lift.
Booked here but realised I got the dates wrong, immediately contacted Expedia within 12 hours of booking and they tried to contact the hotel who did not respond to any requests to change the date. I tried a number of times including contacting the hotel directly. So poor on both the hotel and Expedia!
Now my review keeps getting blocked!
