Uma excelente estadia em um hotel do seculo xvIII, com um otimo atendimento de toda a equipe. Esse merece 6 estrelas.

Sehr kompetentes Personal, Elisabeth hat jeden Frühstückswunsch erfüllt DANKE Elisabeth!!, wunderschönes Hotel, man fühlt sich wie auf einem Schloss! Sehr schöner Pool, Gym war gut sortiert; DANKE an alle, die den Besuch unvergesslich gemacht haben; ich kann das Hotel bestens empfehlen!! Tolle Restaurants am Hotelgelände, Kaffee war einzigartig! Ein unvergessliches Ambiente in Lissabon.

Prachtige locatie, fantastisch hotel en personeel.
Pros:

Perfecte rustige locatie, maar toch dicht bij het centrum. De tuin met zwembad is een oase van rust. Het personeel bij receptie, het ontbijt en bij het zwembad, is fantastisch, gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het personeel staat altijd klaar voor het regelen van een taxi, het dragen van je koffers, of een vriendelijke praatje als je langsloopt. De roomservice is perfect en netjes; iedere avond wordt je kamer klaargemaakt voor de nacht: gordijnen dicht, slippers naast je bed, losliggende kleding opgevouwen weggelegd, nieuwe handdoeken, bed eventueel weer opgemaakt... Echt een heerlijke luxe waardoor je na een dagje zwembad of stad in een schone kamer terugkomt.

Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, compleet en wordt tot op het eind van het ontbijt nog aangevuld. Vers fruit, genoeg keuzes. De kamers zijn prima, maar het is vooral het geheel van het prachtige hoofdgebouw en de tuin die dit een perfecte uitvalsbasis maken om Lissabon te ontdekken. De kamers aan de tuinzijde zijn een aanrader; hierdoor blijf je echt in 'de wereld' van het hotel (in tegenstelling tot de straatkant waar je toch wat meer de buitenwereld meekrijgt). Er zijn redelijk veel kamers, maar toch voelt het nooit echt druk (zeker niet aan het zwembad gek genoeg, gezien daar niet veel ligplaatsen zijn).

Nu twee keer geweest, en onze volgende trip naar Lissabon blijven we 100% weer in dit hotel.

Cons:

De kamers zijn (nog) niet helemaal anno 2026 en op sommige punten wat gedateerd of wat achterstallig onderhoud (bijv. een niet werkend stopcontact in de badkamer). Niks storends of groots, maar hier valt nog winst te behalen.

- Somptueux buffet au petit déjeuner.
- Piscines intérieure et extérieure de taille moyenne, sauna (petit mais peu fréquenté).
- Hôtel majestueux (ancien palais, très bien restauré), grand jardin.
- Personnel très aimable.

Cons:

- Service parfois lent au restaurant asiatique et pour avoir les boissons chaudes au petit-déjeuner.
- Manque de place au petit déjeuner quand il pleut et que personne ne peut manger en terasse.
- Quartier périphérique (près du pont sur le Tage) et pas de navette pour aller au centre ville.
