Perfect place to stay, would love to return someday
Pros:

We stayed in the House, and were upgraded on check in. The room was perfect and very comfortable! Easy parking and convenient access to transit to get into city center. Also, had a delicious meal our first night at the Bothy… we wished we could have stayed longer!

Friendly and relaxed stay in busy Edinburgh.

Lovely location and a good sized room
Pros:

Felt nice, luxury. Good location and the evening meal was delicious

Cons:

Bath room smelled terrible, and the toilet kept flushing.
Evening staff were unhelpful
Breakfast was a let down after the expectations raised from the evening meal.

Really Excellent staff and Really pleasant stay apart from the restaurant the next day. But I’d stay again.
Pros:

The staff!! Loved the location and accessibility to the city.
The room was really big and the bathroom was really nice! Loved the space and it looked the part.

Cons:

The bedroom would have been something quite special before it the wear and tear. There were definitely elements of that. I think the room could have done with a makeover, but it was definitely clean and looked great if you ignored a rip in the curtains and the ripped fabric hanging down from below the ottoman bed chair.
I’d stay again, it just needs a wee revamp.
The Bothy restaurant served me Bacon, Chips, formed egg and dehydrated peas instead of the “Thick Cut Wiltshire Ham blah blah blah”…. sent it back.

In my opinion the property is overpriced
Pros:

The location was ok, bus stop is pretty close . Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok too ( had to wait about 40 min for it , but we were not in a rush). Bed was nice size and very comfortable.

Cons:

Our room was on a top floor, there is no AC in a room, only small fan available which is not enough for a size of the room. It was very stuffed, no air especially at night. Shower is tricky to use ( it’s hard to turn it on , was not working at first). Carpet is quite dirty . All the furniture have got marks and stains, the wardrobe was crooked on one side , toilet seat and shower tray have got marks as well, need replacement.
