I would stay here every time as long as it stays affordable.
Pros:

The location was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding.

I liked the area and the hotel. I had been once before.

Cons:

Not that I care to watch much TV. However, channels were limited, and I could not find a guide on TV.

The room provided a hard copy of the guide. However, it seems that not all the channels were available.

But I do not travel to stay in a room to watch TV.

I saw new construction in the area next door, so access was limited, and afaird in the future, the location will not be as cozy..

Always clean, staff is always welcoming and nice. Everyone that stays there always show good hospitality. This is the hotel we always go to when visiting family.

The hotel itself is older. That is fine but the condition is very poor. There is a TON of water damage on the walls and floors. The smell is VERY STRONG of mold and mildew. We saw several boxes of deodorizer sitting around to try to mask the smell which made it worse. The morning front desk clerk was amazing. The morning kitchen lady was very kind. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was great. But the above problems with the smell almost made me sick

Pros:

Everyone at the Russell Inn is so friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean. Breakfast is amazing. The area is quiet and close to MSU, places to eat and shop. Russell Inn is the ONLY place we stay when we visit our daughter in Starkville!!
