Every time I stay at Pier South Resort, I'm reminded why I continue coming back. This trip was another perfect example, thanks to Aaliyah and Daniella.

I drove more than 75 miles from Temecula because I wanted to enjoy the oceanfront experience this property offers. Before arriving, I was concerned that my reservation wouldn't provide the view I had hoped for. Aaliyah and Daniella immediately took ownership of the situation and did everything they could to accommodate my request. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to enjoy the beautiful ocean view that made the drive worthwhile.

What impressed me the most wasn't just the room—it was the genuine hospitality. Aaliyah greeted me with a warm smile, a positive attitude, and a level of professionalism that made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation. This is not the first time she has provided exceptional service, and her consistency is one of the reasons I keep choosing this hotel. Daniella was equally kind, attentive, and committed to making sure my stay started on the right note.

Exceptional customer service is becoming harder to find, but Aaliyah and Daniella set a standard that others should strive to achieve. They are a tremendous asset to the hotel, and they are the reason I'll gladly continue making the drive to stay here. Thank you both for another outstanding experience!

Upon arrival, was immediately greeted by Front Desk Agent, Kassandra. I believe that was her name. All smiles and a positive vibe about her. Made eye contact throughout check-in process. During my 3-day, 2-night stay, Kassandra was engaging with guests while walking through lobby. She ROCKS!
While dining at restaurant, we had a wonderful experience with all the staff members. They too were engaging and pleasant to speak with.
Not to mention, the staff up at the social hour and art event. Both ladies did a fantastic job hosting. I would recommend staying at this property.
Too bad guests and/or locals aren't able.to swim in the ocean due to environmental hazards in the water.

We had a wonderful stay at Pier South Resort. The oceanfront views from the Presidential Suite were absolutely beautiful and made our stay extra special.

The pool area was well maintained, quiet, and perfect for relaxing while enjoying the scenery.
The peaceful atmosphere and beachfront location made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time away.
We would definitely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway.

Location was beautiful but I would have liked a room facing the ocean. I made the reservation about a year in advance and it didn't seem the hotel was very busy.

Omg this was one of the best trips. Had high floor with balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff was extremely courepus. Bike reserve and beach wagon with all beach essentials, chairs. Umbrella, cooler, towels, etc. Are complimentary. Hammie and Kyla, the two I remember were extremely pleasant and kind. But every staff member I encountered were exceptional. I could not have asked for a better stay.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff greeted us as we arrived several hours earlier than check-in as we had an early flight. They took our bags and expedited out room without even being asked. Before we were done exploring the grounds it was ready! The grounds and scenery is amazing. Beautiful ocean and pier views, steps off the beach and a nice pool and patio. The room was clean, spacious and modern and the view spectacular. Rooftop reception offered even more stunning views. I don’t think you van beat it for the price. Great value. We hadn’t been to Imperial Beach before and had a wonderful stay. Such a friendly and relaxing place. We definitely plan on returning and staying here again as the staff and hotel played a large part in our enjoyment of the visit.

Had a nice, relaxing time at the resort. Jess at the front desk was incredibly sweet and helpful. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel’s instant access to the beach was fantastic, and the availability of bicycles made getting around easy and enjoyable. Great service and amenities all around!

All the staff at pier south front desk were awesome.the front office manager Hamayoon ayubi was excellent with making mine and my wife’s stay at your hotel as comfortable as possible we are truly grateful

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Gabby at the front desk of the Marriott in Imperial Beach. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable and stress-free.

Gabby’s professionalism, positive attitude, and genuine willingness to help were truly outstanding. She took the time to answer my questions, addressed my concerns with patience and kindness, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation. In an industry where great customer service can make all the difference, Gabby absolutely sets the standard.

Her attention to detail, warm personality, and commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience left a lasting impression on me. Employees like Gabby are a major reason guests choose to return.

Gaby was very kind. We accidentally booked for 6/3 and meant to book for 6/2 but she switched the dates and even comped us a convenience fee since the hot tub was broken.

Rooms are really nice beds are comfortable I keep coming back such a nice place to stay right by the beach thank you Daniela for your excellent service you are very welcoming and inviting 🙂

Pier South is a terrific hotel - kind and helpful staff (shout out to Emeli, Kaila and Hammie), clean spacious rooms, easy access, good food and drinks at Sammy’s (onsite restaurant), and overall great location to walkable activities and restaurants. And maybe the best part is being on the beach, hearing the waves and feeling the breeze any time of day. It’s a real treat to stay here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pier South Resort in Imperial Beach during our family San Diego vacation. From the moment we arrived, the hotel delivered exactly the kind of relaxing beachfront experience we were hoping for.
The room was spacious, modern, clean, and beautifully designed, but the real highlight was the incredible oceanfront balcony view. Waking up and looking directly out onto the beach every morning was amazing, and the easy beach access made the entire trip feel peaceful and effortless.
We especially loved spending time by the pool and cabana areas after long days exploring San Diego. The atmosphere at the resort was calm, welcoming, and never overly crowded or hectic.
A huge shoutout to the valet staff, especially Oziel and Now, who were both fantastic throughout our stay. They were always friendly, professional, quick to help, and genuinely made us feel welcomed every time we came and went. Their customer service really stood out and added to the overall experience.
During our trip we explored Little Italy, went souvenir shopping, relaxed on the beach, and our granddaughter even took surf lessons for the first time. Coming back to Pier South every evening felt perfect.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront San Diego getaway with excellent service and beautiful views.

Amazing experience!! Hammie and Kassandra at the front desk were absolutely wonderful and very warm and inviting! They made our stay very special and were very accommodating! The room was beautiful!! We will definitely be back!
