Absolutely lovely time here. Friendly staff especially Vyshnay who was kind and helpful always going that extra mile. Lovely fresh food. Room very comfortable. Ideal place to stay for a weekend when visiting for a show at the pavilions

Good location
The breakfast was average with limited choice, nothing special. However, the main issue for me was how guests are treated in terms of trust.
I was accused of not staying at the hotel and was told by the manager that they needed to verify my name and room number because some people allegedly walk in from the street to get free breakfast. This made me feel uncomfortable and undermined. In my experience, hotels usually ask for a room number and discreetly check it, rather than questioning a guest’s legitimacy.
I raised this concern with the general manager, but unfortunately, they fully supported the manager’s approach. As a paying guest, I did not feel trusted or respected, which overshadowed my stay.

Very good location.
The staff were fine with me storing my luggage prior to my check in. Once I did check in later in the day, I was not offered help to load our bags and cases onto a trolley which we then squeezed into the lift to reach our room. The trolley got stuck going onto the lift and we got a bit trapped trying to get the trolley in which resulted in my daughter squashed behind the trolley in the lift and me not able to get in too. I used the other lift to reach our floor and freed her and the trolley from the lift - a bit of a fiasco to be honest.
The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. We loved the bathroom although the complimentary toiletries smelt a bit too earthy for us. Reception was so helpful in getting us a taxi, helping with out luggage and a lovely coffee when we checked out very early the next morning.
About 3 weeks after this stay I received a notice from my hire car company that I had been issued a parking infringement notice and fine of £100 for the time I had unloaded my luggage to store prior to checking in. Obviously I am disputing it and I've got to say that sadly it has taken the shine from my stay at Holiday Inn Bournemouth.
