Food was good and good value for money. Facilities and room were ok but room overpriced.

Definitely need more staff. They weren't able to keep on top of clearing the ables at breakfast and were slow at dinner.
Room smelt damp after we'd all showered, not sure the extractor was even working.
We had asked for a littl card and chocolate for my daughter's 7th birthday but this wasn't at all acknowledged and she was disappointed. We had stayed in premier inn the prior night and had a card and room upgrade for her birthday so at least she got to experience that.

Pros:

Honestly, I didn't like the hotel at all. The building's design doesn't bring any joy to the heart, unlike the restaurant which was a bit more lively. The room wasn't nice, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there was no fridge. However, the housekeeping staff, reception, and restaurant staff were all wonderful and very kind, and they are the only reason we would ever consider returning.

Cons:

The main issue was the lack of a fridge in the room. With children, we needed to keep milk and cold drinks fresh, but unfortunately, there was no fridge and nowhere proper to store our items, especially considering the hotel's high price.

Nur ein durchschnittliches Hotel
Cons:

Die Matratzen waren unbequem und durch gelegen. Ein von 2 Liften war defekt, in der Zeit wo wir da waren wurde er nicht repariert. Keine Infos vom Hotel, dass nur einer ging. Ältere und Behinderte Personen im Hotel, wo den Lift brauchten.
Eine Stunde vor offiziellen Check in ,wollten das Hotel noch 20 £.

Disappointed for Holiday Inn on facilities and cleanliness but friendly staff

Staff was friendly and trying their best

Cons:

Lifts out of order no staff at the bar. The bar staff didn't know how to use stuff more training required and generally slow service as hotel seemed understaffed
