Clean, friendly staff, excellent location

Great location with a short walk (downhill) to the beach and the bars and restaurants. Hotel is modern and had onsite parking (chargeable). Reception staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a high floor room that had a sea view which was a nice surprise as didn't request one. Seems like there was a fair amount of parking available. We visited in October half term. Nice light and airy breakfast/bar area.
The only thing that was annoying was breakfast. It took a long time for items to be repenished. Lots of people waiting around. Feel like I spent most of the time stood waiting for one thing or another so gave up in the end. Wasn't a relaxing breakfast especially when you have fussy eating children with you.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast weas nice. Location was good. The beach is lovely! Long walks on a sandy beach.

The shower tray overflowed onto the bathroom floor. This is inconvenient and embarrassing for guests. As with most hotels, the plumbing goes unserviced. Shower drain traps should be cleaned at least every three months.
