It was fabulous for me and my teens. Definitely recommend and we will definitely stay next visit too.

Central. Fun, staff were cool.

Cons:

It’s right next to a lively pub but they provide earplugs and the music is good so it’s not really an issue.

Great Central location, book in advance.
Pros:

Location is great all major attractions are at walkable distance about 10 minutes. Thats why price is little higher. Also have privet pub great experience in weekend.

Cons:

Bathroom have glass door and have visible gap, in the 6 bed family room , which feel awkward if you are with family.

Even for a cheap hostel type experience, we were disappointed with the dirtiness and noise
Pros:

Central location. Good value for Edinburgh.

Cons:

Check in was delayed because room not cleaned. But when we got in the room there were dirty mugs and ketchup (?) smears on furniture. Outside the window was an outdoor bar/club which had a loud music going full blast until 2am on a Sunday/Monday night.
