I like to strip the beds for the housekeepers but the bedding was filthy and stained so I then could not bare look at the mattress.

Great location! Super close to popular streets, shops, and restaurants. Also very close to Waverley station.

Cons:

The hot water wasn’t really working. We didn’t love the “double bed” being two singles pushed together. The beds would slide apart and create a big crevice. Our room on our last night also REEKED of cigarettes. We didn’t have any windows open but we must’ve been above the smoking area. The noise from the bar didn’t bother us. I unfortunately had bad knees during this trip and was told that the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to take the stairs for our floor 3 room. I didn’t raise this at the time and understand it’s not their fault, but it was a bit disappointing.

This worked well as a quick stop over.

Cons:

We got there on Friday night and there was loud music next door. I was fine with it but kids and seniors had trouble getting to sleep.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL unless you plan to be awake until at least 3AM. We got “upgraded” to room 212 and were moved to a louder part of the hotel right above The Three Sisters bar.

Pros:

The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice, the breakfast was basic but good, the rooms were sound proof, the location was very useful and they have a large TV in the room with everything you need.

Cons:

The price for our stay was too expensive for what it is. There were small cracks on the ceiling in the bedroom and there were signs of dampness in the bathroom. I think the price reflects the location more than the facilities.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto strategica in quanto si trova a pochi passi dalla Royal Mile. Per coloro a cui piace fare festa o semplicemente bere qualche cosa la sera, il bar sotto l'hotel "The Three Sisters", è perfetto.

Cons:

Per colore a cui non piace fare festa e hanno il sonno leggero, consiglio di portare i tappi per le orecchie in quanto la sera la zona è frequentata da festaioli.

Pros:

Really comfy, clean, modern in the rooms and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was quite noisy at night even on the far side of the hotel (away from the bars) but they give free earplugs at reception and it is incredibly central so perhaps comes with the territory.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location. I’d forgotten the bring along an adapter, but the receptionist lent one out :-)
Efficient heater (was required!)

Cons:

Very old windows that need replacement. Not windproof, so it was quite chilly in the room.
No butter for breakfast? There‘s grocery store right at the next corner!
