Good location, free parking access and impressive building from outside. Spacious room with a small kitchen.
The hotel is well-located with free parking, but it appears somewhat neglected from the outside. The rooms are noisy, with sounds echoing from the floor above and the wardrobes shifting with movement. There are few power sockets, and they are inconveniently placed for charging devices. The shower system was slow to operate, requiring a complaint at reception, and there was no small bin in the room for trash disposal. The beds were uncomfortable, and while the large room had a small kitchen, it did not look clean or inviting for use.
Accommodating late check in to 11pm
Bed comfy
Suitable for needs
Dirt on bed
Wall in room shared with bathroom leaking so did not use socket next to this
Room on corridor exiting reception so could hear everything coming and going from 4am-10am
Nothing
Worst place ever. Like sleeping in a prison cell. I had my music on my phone and it wasn't connected to a speaker and had a knock on the door to keep nit down. U can hear kids in another room. This place has thin walls. Really cheaply made and NO WIFI. NEVER AGAIN
clean comfortable helpful staff warm room great leafy green location
comfortable and amazing staff
i think it should have fans
Good price for an overnight stay close to family. Comfy bed, tea making facilities, pleasant room. Would stay there again.
As others have said, the accommodation is basic though good value. It seems that parts of the hotel have been renovated and not others. New carpets throughout or at least in the bedroom would help.
Location and price
Stained bedsheets, blinds were broken and put in the wardrobe so had to re install myself so that I could have privacy
That the staff left u t get on with it an don't bug ya
Shared bathroom
The room was passable for cleanliness and had enough facilities to keep us satisfied.
The initial welcome, had to provide details not initially specified which felt unsecure. Witnessed someone being turned away because of these same needed details. The person on the desk wasn't particularly welcoming and slightly rude, but made up for it in the morning. You pay for what you get and don't expect the ritz haha but we needed a cheap place that wasn't far from the centre, so was pretty much sweet.
The room doesn't have a bathroom and it's really not spacious

Distance to town
The rooms were quite modern and clean, the carpets looked a bit grubby, I think that was more to do with the grey colour of the carpets, they will easily show the dirt from shoes. Bathroom and shower were nice and clean, shower was very good. The beds were comfortable, maybe a bit old, but I still found them comfortable. For the price paid, I certainly have no complaints, i've stayed in far worse for far more money. I would definitely stay again if needing a budget hotel that is clean.
Towels could be a little better, or an extra towel. I stayed 3 nights, would be nice if someone came into the room during the day to freshen the room, empty the bin and to replace the used coffee. A couple of minor points, loads of broken coat hangers and nowhere to hang the towel, minor points but do make a difference if rectified.

Not much
It was dirty, stains on bedding, old bed and mattress , no shower gel, no signal on tv. Oddly located so couldn’t see the screen even when I could find a channel. Very dirty carpets in communal areas.
The above things are easily resolved and cheap, such as shower gel, clean bedding, better tv Ariel and steam clean carpets.
All this for £150, definitely not worth the money
