The room smelt like bad odor! It was disgusting.
The table was broken. The towel railing was broken.
Overall, had an okay sleep. Wasn’t the best!

Arrived at around midnight and couldn't get in the pedestrian gate because of a number of apparently homeless, indigenous people blocking the access.

It would be nice to have better cleaning next time.

I like the plants and trees around the apartments.

The cleaning was not done properly especially the floors were sticky and the carpets were dusty.

Pros:

Coconut grove is very well located not far from Nightcliff with a supermarket very close by. Perfect when you have no car since the bus line stops almost in straight in front of the hotel.

Cons:

We came several time to Coconut but we are sad to see the hotel getting older and older every time. The personal is very kind but the rooms are becoming dilapidated. We had a kitchen with the very very strict minimum in it. The whole was clean but just so worn out. With a good TLC this hotel should be very pleasant again.

Great value overnighter
Pros:

Very good value for travellers in nedd of a rest on the way through Darwin. Friendly and responsive staff, comfortable beds. After hours check-in was clear to follow.

Cons:

Next time I would ask about room placement and availability for flights of stairs with multiple small children. The bathroom needed new washers on the taps to stop dripping and better fan extraction.

Cons:

Bad smell in the room. The room smelt awful like cat’s urine. Another guest had 2 dogs in their room which was the first time I have seen this. They barked a little but it’s not nice for the dogs to be cooped up either.
