Would not recommend this hotel. Rooms smelled very foul as if i was staying in a sewage, woken up early morning with loud bangs and drilling noise. Would never visit here ever again
Very basic and cheap hotel, beds are not comfy. Staff unfriendly and look depressed probably because they are not treated fairly by the Ibis Chain.
I wish I had booked a better hotel, as this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Rooms are very small and cramped.
This was our umpteenth visit, friendly staff always bubbly and helpful . It’s starting to look a bit rundown, rooms comfortable and clean and service great as usual. Sadly it will cease to be part of the ibis group in August. We will see who takes it over and decide if we still stay there in future.
Good location for Saltaire, friendly and clean and value for money
Handily located close to the Rail Station, with trains to Leeds, Bradford, Ilkley, Skiptop/Carlisle line etc. On the canal side, so can walk on a pleasant route along the canal to Saltaire (Heritage site). Shipley itself is not a great place (somewhat run down in places). Hotel was absolutely fine, but some might consider it "dated" as they say. I thought it was OK, decent comfy bed, modernised toilet/shower room. Someone was always on Reception and very friendly and helpful. I felt safe and secure.
Property in ideal location for us for our days out. Canal tow pat walk fabulous.
I was concerned about lack of working lift as I have difficulty breathing, perhaps a ground floor I could have been offered ground floor room if I had known before check in
The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. The hotel are very dog friendly which is great when travelling with our two greyhounds! The beds are comfy and the room was great. The surrounding area there is lots to do and there are great walks along the canal.
Stayed here for one night and what can I say? It’s an Ibis, you know you’re not getting Sheraton levels of luxury, but it’s clean, tidy and comfortable and most of all, dog friendly.
Staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good value.
Room was on the ground floor facing the canal and had a security light immediately above the window which meant it was like daytime at 2am in the room.
Good checking, convenient. Large rooms.
Room was fine for over night stay . Got to No Hot water. Virtually cold wash it was .No phones in room ,so went to reception , told reception
not a good response . I’m aware these things can happen .
We paid for breakfast - no one in restaurant area , no fruit available ( not replenished )
Cooked food was barely- Luke warm .
Not at all impressed. No one on reception either at this time .
Won’t be going again .
Quick overnight before LBA
The rooms are very basic, no refrigerator, hand towel or wash cloth. The morning breakfast was ok.
My 1st time stayin here. My sister's recommended me to join them.
This was family catch up. Relaxing.
Only thing i would improve is cushions. Need more firmness.
And need comfy Armchair in my room.
We stay at the lovely, relaxing & very convenient Ibis Bradford Shipley every year with the family. We love the tasty breakfast buffet.
Great stay again, been here a few times and allow Dogs
Pub next door and some shopping near by
Decent walk along the Canal to the Park
Good buffet breakfast
Good comfortable wide double bed. Extra pillows. Our room on first floor overlooked the canal. Tray with tea/coffee/milk with extra available at reception. Windows opened, which we loved. Reception staff also served at the adjacent bar (and seemed to also cook evening snacks) Limited bar.
Breakfast expensive in comparison to that at the pub next door.
Ideal for walking along canal towpath to Saltaire. Also ideal to get train into Leeds.
Great location for us. Clean and comfortable. Hospitality tray sparse!
No biscuits and only had 2 T bags so had to go to reception.
Bar prices reasonable.
Llovely staff on reception
Good nights sleep
Great that checkout is 12.00
I’ve now stayed here 4 times with my daughter due to her going to a drama class nearby in Bingley on a Monday night. The hotel is clean and we find the rooms comfortable and she enjoys staying here. I always get a good price if I search online and my daughter enjoys the breakfast which is only £6 for her especially the Nutella machine ! Slight problem last night due to drunk couple above me who couldn’t act like normal people and the police had to be called. I don’t blame the hotel for that, because that could happen anywhere! I was looked after this morning by the kind lady on reception so thank you for that and also the night staff did his best to sort the situation out. Please ban them from returning if possible especially the woman !!!!!!
The hotel is close to a Costa and a Lidl if you need anything and they also have a 24hr food menu, snooker/pool table, seating area downstairs with TV and ironing facilities.
People swearing and shouting and running down the corridors at 2 in morning, this carried on outside then back inside again for an hour ,nobody stopped them ,as well as that you had to slam doors to shut them or they would not lock ,so this was going on threw the night, can't knock the rooms as they were ok ,the staff were ok ,would not stay here ever again though
I have stayed here on several occasions now and never had any problems.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
It is an easy walk to the railway station and shops.
