Pros:

Loved the location and the beautiful view of the water. Loved being so close to the restaurants. We had trouble with the air conditioning unit and the Room, the receptionist was extremely helpful in sorting out our concerns and seeing we were happy.

Never again we spend considerable time in the city and thought this might be a nice diversion

We had stayed there a decade ago and the location was what we were looking for the property was tired then and still is, room was musky ,poorly maintained, and definitely didn’t have a “waterfront “ view which we were un aware of at time of booking.We paid an additional fee for parking thinking it would be more convenient to access the property another mistake.

Coming from Sydney to attend a nearby funeral, it was quiet convenient.

With luggage, moving from car boot in car park to our room. No trolleys available.

Overall vibe of the hotel screams "it needs maintenance and upgrade!"
Pros:

Location: great views of the sea, splash area just outside the building and a small play area. Clean and bright. Restaurants in walking distance.

Staff: friendly

Beach: visited near by children friendly beaches.

Cons:

Room: Saw some baby cockroaches in the kitchenette area and informed front desk the first night. They advised someone would spray and attend to it. This did not happen. Saw more baby roaches the second night. Again informed the front desk staff. One of the cooking utensils in the drawer still had grease on the back from who knows when it was last used.

View: we had a room facing the carpark (back of the building). Could see some mountains in a distance. Did not appeal or make us want to sit and use the balcony.

Overall: Hallway retains cooking smell from the visitors (unpleasant and poor ventilation). Pool was warm and spa very very warm. Overall, you could see cracked/missing tiles etc. Not something you expect for what you pay to stay. Gym was being renovated. One of the two lift was under maintenance therefore you had to wait a while to use it.

My booking was included the housekeeper they did nothing i think they should refund some money because the difference was around $50

Lack of privacy. We want to be able to enjoy the balcony with privacy. I asked to be moved when I first checked in as I believed the apartment i booked would he at a higher level like before and a private balcony. We had a lower floor water front and neighbour's able to view our balcony and room

The view was fantastic. the bed was comfy and the kitchen pretty well stocked. The dryer needs repairs & the spa pump in our room was not working. The pool needs some work done. The gym was closed with no other option.
