I originally posted this review during the fifth day of my stay at Microtel Wyndham Bethel.
Due to personal schedule delays, I had already renewed my booking directly for an additional two nights (which would have totalled seven). However, just 15 minutes before checkout of the fifth day, I was abruptly evicted and management unilaterally canceled my sixth and seventh nights without warning. I was eventually given one additional hour, but it was still an impossibly short time to pack my suitcases and find a new place to stay on such short notice.
The owner’s excuses for my eviction were a '3-night pet limit' and the claim that my dog was off-leash. These are pretexts for discrimination. My dog is an 18lb pug—the gentlest creature imaginable. He was only off-leash for quick 10–15 minute relief walks in empty areas of the hotel, and I remained under effective control, leashing him the moment anyone was nearby. This fully complies with ADA standards.
I stayed for five consecutive days without a single complaint or mention of a 'pet policy.' It was only after I posted my initial review that management suddenly decided to enforce a 3-night limit that does not legally apply to service animals.
To be clear: my dog is a trained Service Animal. The ADA grants me the right to have him with me at all times. The owner’s ignorance of federal law is frustrating, but evicting a person with a disability and canceling their confirmed reservation as retaliation for a review is illegal.

The staff is friendly and respectful. My room was extremely clean and organised. Breakfast was decent, but everyday the same—not a big deal for me. Parking lot is huge! However, the hotel policy is a major issue.
Having the hotel's policy explained to me upon arrival while I was exhausted from driving and standing at reception was a major turn-off. I have high standards when it comes to human interaction, and I felt uncomfortable and unappreciated when the receptionist claimed I would encounter a refundable fee "everywhere."
I didn’t appreciate being asked for the deposit, even if it is refundable. It feels like a shady policy that is hidden on the website to trap you into paying once you've already arrived, rather than dealing with the hassle of finding a new hotel after planning your trip in advance.
It feels like they are assuming an incident is likely, or perhaps it’s because I travel with a service dog.
The hotel is budget-friendly, but it still costs money. Their WiFi is free, but it's horrible.
This is definitely my last stay with Wyndham. Shady businesses don’t deserve my patronage. The policy may be theirs, but the money is mine.
As a returning customer, it's clear that my loyalty doesn't mean anything to them. The points earned for staying mean nothing to me; I go where I am liked and where I feel welcomed. From now on, that excludes Microtel by Wyndham.
Very satisfied with my stay. Staff were nice, rooms were clean and affordable.
Location was convenient while traveling. Sherri we had an extended stay, hotel upgraded us to a “suite”.
No elevator. Never came in to clean and change linens during 6 day stay. Had to request, then they came in and removed towels and didn’t replace. No other cleaning provided. Had to go to front desk and get clean towels. Lack of Lighting in kitchenette area. Coffee pot didn’t work and they never replaced. Bathroom had no hooks to hang towels and No counter space. Sink stopper missing. Breakfast was barely adequate if all you eat are carbs. Coffee was terrible.

I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. My husband did and said it was good. The hotel was close to restaurants, which was nice. The room was small (Microtel😉), but had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable
Thicker towels would be nice. The towels were pretty thin.
Good location. Very clean. Check-in was easy. Single room with queen sized bed. Small fridge with coffee maker. Cable TV was decent, but actual TV could have been a little bigger. Large bathroom. Breakfast was basic. Cereal, toast, English muffins, yogurt. Nothing hot, but gets you started in the morning.
Location is good
The hotel does not give you access to WiFi unless you pay 5 dollars.

Very comfortable, great pricing, and best location.
Continental breakfast
Location, comfortable bed, price
Room 119, the refrigerator was loud, there was no liquid creamer for your coffee, the carpet was torn up (guessing it was a pet room) the top of shower head leaked creating a waterfall over the curtain rod and there was no lotion in the bottle hanging over the bathroom sink. Also a channel listing for the tv would be nice!
Everything was spectacular as always. My room was upgraded upon check-in....the staff is ALWAYS attentive.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The lady who was cleaning was very nice and I can say she works very hard!
It was very quiet, something that is unheard of at other places I have stayed!
It would have been nice to get coffee in the lobby area as I love my coffee. It was only available early morning.
