Not a hotel to stay in if you want a good kip

At 12:30 am whilst trying to get a good nights sleep before Liverpool half marathon I was awoken by nearby guests
The walls were paper thin and actually moved when the inconsiderate guests slammed doors all night .
I was awake from 12:30 am to 5 am !
The noises from pipes and air con were dreadful like being in steerage on the Titanic!
I thought that the room was tired and basic I paid £200 for one night and was not impressed at the standard
The staff were great no problems there
Location excellent
Hotel tired ( not as much as I was!) prefabricated rooms no sound insulation at all
I will go and kip at Sir Lenny Henry’s gaf next time
He guarantees a great nights sleep something I wish I’d known beforehand
Sleep is priceless and can ruin a stay if you ain’t getting it
I left annoyed

Had a great time in Liverpool. Filled our days with lots of things to do and see. Will travel to Liverpool again however
Pros:

The location was great. The staff were fabulous and knowledgeable.

Cons:

The bathroom facilities felt like a porta loo and the shower was very poor

Great location, good parking , great staff and good breakfast
Pros:

Great parking at a reasonable rate, great location of hotel, good free breakfast clean comfortable room and very nice staff.

Cons:

Heating was a little under parr it took quite a while for the t=room to heat up and the bathroom was cold
