Quiet and clean room with a great location, walking distance from the main attractions, shops, restaurants, cafes and the Cavern Club. Every time a go to Liverpool I choose Ibis to stay and I never regret.
The location was good for sites and travel options.
The food wasn’t very good.

The sink was blicked full of black gunge on arrival I had to plunge it away to get water to run and run hot tap for a good 10 minutes to clear.

The curtain in the shower stuck to you when having a shower not good when water on the floor made it slippy.

I was given an easily accessible room, even though I am not disabled. The room was filthy and I slipped twice on the ‘non slip’ floor, in the bathroom.

The room we were going in was not ready so moved to a new room which was on the other side of the aisle but was facing the car park and could hear the building site we had paid extra to upgrade but we were disappointed 😞

This is an honest, value-for-money budget hotel. For motorists, a bonus is the large carpark. The location of the hotel cannot be faulted, opposite the Albert Dock on the edge of Liverpool One, the prime shopping area. Although the hotel is popular and is often fully-booked, it is very quiet at night. The rooms are quite spacious and have everything a traveller could need for a short stay, and the beds and showers are of very good quality. The hotel scores a ten for cleanliness and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The lounge is designed to accommodate the maximum number of guests and can therefore appear somewhat overcrowded and noisy in the evening, with sports on television dominating. The bar is not the cheapest for an establishment of this kind.
The location and the breakfast.
The rooms are too small and need some adjustment. It is essential to provide filtered water for the clients, not tap water, and offering complimentary coffee would be a nice courtesy. In the bathroom, providing only shampoo is not sufficient; it is essential to provide at least both shampoo and conditioner.
