I definitely wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

I liked the price that’s about it and the bed was decent and the room was cold

Cons:

Smelled like mildew on the entire floor I was on and the breakfast left a lot to be desired

Uncomfortable and stressful
Pros:

Upon checking in we were given a room on the 9th floor and told the elevator was not working. We insisted on a lower floor due to our age. We were put on the 5th floor. We were able to get the service elevator a few times otherwise we had to climb stairs 5 floors. The hotel is under construction so the noise was horrible from 7:30 am through 5pm. Not good for resting. I think we should have been warned of the construction. They said it would continue for the next 6 months or so. Feel like I was ripped off and would like at least a partial refund.

The construction and broken elevators.

Pros:

Location was fine and room was very spacious, and the staff was very friendly and courteous!

Cons:

Shower was leaking more water down the wall than spraying out - was impossible to regulate temperature of water. Really hot or scalding and terrible pressure to boot. Hotel seemed like it was in it's prime about 30 years ago and not updated since. Had to use the service elevator as both of the guest elevators were out of order. Breakfast was only so-so, despite a number of recent positive reviews.

It was comfortable and I felt safe. I was just a little disappointed this time about the service!
Pros:

For some reason I'll book a certain room and the desk clerk gives me a different room than my purchase. I believe they do it because I book through a third party company. I didn't complain about it but I believe the desk clerk should give each guest the room purchased. I love the hotel but honor what I booked!

Cons:

They didn't give me the room I purchased and the room that was given to me was very stuffy. This has never happened during my stay.

Older Hotel with Potential to be Great if Rehabbed
Pros:

Having a balcony overlooking the pool was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable. The woman working solo at breakfast was awesome! She was waiting tables, busing tables, fixing coffee, etc. The coffee was great! Nice buffet breakfast, although the bacon tasted awful (spoiled).

Cons:

The hotel is old and needs a really good deep cleaning, exterior power washing, and some fresh paint. The furnishings are outdated, the carpets are stained. The pool looked functional but the pool area and pool were closed. Small bathroom.
