Residence Inn by Marriott Olathe Kansas City

The place is rough. Could use some updating. Housekeeping was a let-down. Staff were a delight! Very nice people!

I didnt see on the site that the pool was down the internet was spotty in my room the bed was uncomfortable and i got these little red bumps all over my back from the bed, also the water pressure was definitely lacking. The staff and service were the only thing that made up for the other things.

Outstanding place to stay. Nice breakfast.

This is an old property. We got there and found out the pool was closed and had been closed for a year. I paid for a one bedroom suite planning on using the pull out bed as my wife snores so she got the bedroom and I got the pull out bed in the main room. The pull out bed was terrible. Bad mattress, bad springs, and it could not be slept on without causing pain. I ended up having to pull off the couch pillows and using them to sleep on the floor. Now for the good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty good for a “free breakfast “ and the lady that ran it insured the hot buffet items were hot, full and kept clean. She did an excellent job and continually insured items were full in all other areas.

We were charged an extra fee for “incidentals” at check in that we weren’t aware of ahead of time. The advertised pool was under repair and that was not advertised, our children were looking forward to it.

Keisha is an excellent employee and an example of the perfect host. She was able to change our room to be more accommodating for my dad who is elderly. She deserves praise and s large raise for her thoughtfulness. Breakfast buffet was great 👍

Loved the helpfulness of staff…top notch. Property was a little dated, but kept up and clean. Would stay again for the price we got.

Dirty

This hotel is a little dated, no usb plug ins, but there was plenty of room, it had a great breakfast with hot eggs, sausages, oatmeal with many toppings, all the drink choices, fruits, cereals.

We have stayed here before and we had another great experience. We were here for 3 nights. Beds are always comfortable and everything is clean. We like having the comforts of home and the extra room this residence inn provides at the same price or less than many hotels in the same area. Plus- breakfast is included here!

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful!! Breakfast was good coffee great wonderful experience!

The stay was great! Management does need to retire and replace the tattered American flag on display.

It was 3 of use in the room and the TV wasn't in good placement. Ño privacy inside room with each other, no dividers

Has just an overnight stay. Every thing was nice and clean. The desk staff was very friendly. Can’t rate the breakfast yet, haven’t eaten yet.

The bed was not as comfortable as hoped but as we get older we get too used to our beds. The bathroom could use some updating.

The elevator was out. The rooms are outdated.
The room had 2 portable AC units, one in a window and the other on casters.
Very strange for a room in a higher price range.
