Room was not that clan I found some hair in the couch and the room had an old smell
Plus the hall was very noisy
I got here and the staff was absolutely fantastic. From the people at the front desk, the servers, chefs, the maintenance guys, and the room service crew. Everyone had a great attitude and was amazing to get to know. But two people stuck out to me. That was Rigo, this guy always had a smile and a joke to tell. I would intentionally swing by every evening to say what’s up and share a laugh. I will say, I’ve had a lot of bartenders in my life, but he is definitely the best. Secondly, it was the cook Maria G. She always made my breakfast perfect every morning. I will most definitely miss my daily omelette! She was always smiling and in a great mood. I had a great stay at this Hilton, the accommodations were great, and it was super clean. I’m extremely lucky that I chose this hotel, if you get a chance book it here!
Rigo at the bar is amazing, and he made our stay for work memorable! Definitely want to come back due to the staff! Food in the kitchen was excellent as well. This place was a 10 out of 10 for customer service, which seems like lost art in today's world!
Outstanding hotel with superior staff. Yoli Garcia made sure our team was accommodated in an excellent fashion. Our team rented 26 room for 4 nights. Every aspect was excellent. We ate our meals at the hotel. The chef exceeded our expectations. We will return to this hotel! Thank you Yoli Garcia and staff!
Hotel was fine, front of the building needs better sound proofing but the staff were stars and made the stay. Front desk staff were welcoming and pleasant and Rigo at the bar was the best! Turned a long difficult work day around with his infectious good mood! Also enjoyed a quick visit to Quinta Mazatlan on his recommendation on my way home and loved it! Thanks for the tip, Rigo!

The service is great at this hotel. I enjoyed talking to the bartender, Rigo. He taught me all about tequila and where it is made. The shuttle driver was great and very prompt. I would definitely stay here again.

All the staff are very attentive, but Rigo the bartender made the stay incredible. He’s full of knowledge and will have you laughing in no time.

I changed rooms 4 times. The a/c didn't work in 3 and the one it did work in was so loud I thought a train was driving through the room next to me. Stay away, pretty sure it will fall apart soon.
The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great and room was clean! They have the best Bartender RIGO who was super fun, friendly and drove us to some great restaurants he recommended. I look forward to my return trip to McAllen to stay here.
The service at the Hilton Garden Inn in McAllen was absolutely excellent. Every staff member—from the ladies and gentleman at the front desk to the maintenance team—was outstanding and genuinely welcoming.
A special thank you to señorita Maria Gomes, the breakfast cook. Her food was delicious, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating—anything I asked for, she did her best to make happen with a smile.
I also can’t forget Rigo, who provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. He’s a great bartender, very knowledgeable about where to go for dinner, and extremely kind and professional.
