Great location and Service
Pros:

Sulima is amazing.
Courteous and always smiling.
Used the shuttle for the airport run.
Available from 4am to 1pm, takes a mid day break
Then again from 4pm to 1am.
Great location.

Do Better Hampton Inn
Pros:

We were there because my brother was having bypass surgery. It was convenient to go to the hospital. The beds were good. Pillows were great. Food was good.

Cons:

Had to get up at 4:30 am on Wednesday to go to the hospital. Called and asked for a wake up call. No wake up call. We had been gone all day. It was 4:00 pm. We were exhausted and when we got up to our room our keys did not work! Husband had to go back downstairs to see if they could get them to work. He came back up and we got in but our room had not been cleaned up. We were too tired for them to come and clean it so we just asked for clean towels. They did bring them promptly. When my husband was putting the towels in the bathroom, he called me in there and we noticed what looked like black mold on the ceiling. Yuck!

Poor Experience
Pros:

I guess I should have paid heed to the other reviews on this hotel.
We have always been very satisfied with Hampton, but this changed all of that.
Reserved here mainly because it was near the airport.
When we got to the room, I found several strands of hair in the bath tub and had to rinse it out. The toilet seat was literally falling off of the toilet. Had to be careful how far you leaned over.......
Opened the mini-fridge, and a bug of some sort ran out and disappeared before I could smash it.
And last but not least, the TV didn't work. Wouldn't even come on. Called the front desk. No maintenance was in. All they could do is give us a different room. Too late for that.. Wasn't going to pack everything up and move. Just went to bed early.
Breakfast was underwhelming. No idea what the egg things were that were out. And fruit flies everywhere. Will NOT stay there again.

Pros:

I liked that it was close to COTA. The bed and pillows were amazing!! The breakfast spread they had was nice as well, I'm just sad that we didn't get to enjoy the waffles because we had to leave early.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Spent four comfortable nights here before flying out from Austin Airport. Hotel easily accessed off Hwy 71, Ben White Blvd, and fifteen minutes drive from South Congress or downtown. Planes can be seen and heard leaving and arriving at the airport from our fifth floor room at the rear of the hotel for any others so inclined, but any noise not considered excessive. Recently renovated and with all the usual facilities offered by Hampton Inns and Suites, including free parking. Shout out to Maya for her friendly, welcoming manner.

We regularly stay at Hampton Inns for a number of reasons.

Cons:

The Inn was being renovated and we would have stayed elsewhere had we known that. We were bothered by construction sounds and plastic sheeting hanging on the walls.

Great place beyond hard bed.
Pros:

Hotel was clean staff was incredible everything was amazing but the bed. bed was the only downside to the hotel. clean bed just not comfortable.

Love the entire hotel other than the bed. The bed was hard as a rock. Everything else was incredible with the stay. The only issue is the bed. pillows amazing shower clean and nice. sheets and blanket were great, but bed was far too hard.

I was arriving to Austin late and this was one of only a few hotels that offered a late night shuttle and check in. Everything else was how it should be.
