Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Wautoma

We usually stay here when visiting Camp Phillip which makes the location convenient. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. During this time of year the rooms are a good price. The breakfast option is a bargain and perfect when you are on the go.

Rooms were good for us and very reasonable. We had a standard and a suite. We used the suite to play cards in. It was great. I used the pool and whirlpool and they were well maintained and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you. We will be back!

Check in and check out were extremely easy. Their little breakfast buffet is very nice.
Rosa is and always was wonderful to work with!

Ski stay Service was friendly and prompt. My concerns are small;
First, you need to ask for new towels and room cleaning everyday. But, once I understood the policy it was fine Secondly, the hot tub needs to be a little warmer and time limits for usage set. One night 6 people sat in it drinking so others couldn’t use it. However, I will definitely stay again because of the amenities, staff and cleanliness.

Great price, Great Stay. Will Be BACK Some fixtures in Bathrooms need replacement but I understand some updates are underway.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable..we had poor sleep both nights, The breakfast was poor quality, no juice, biscuits were hard and crumbling..not much to choose from.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Convenient that they have refrigerator and microwaves in the room! Loved the lemon water at check in - very refreshing. Pool and whirlpool clean and great temperature. Breakfast was amazing - fresh pastries, waffles, bagels, biscuits & gravy, cereal, waffles, juices, milk, coffee, etc. Great way to start the day!! Will definitely stay again.

Timely correspondence - questions quickly answered - kind consideration given for a block purchase of more than 15 rooms!

The person who checked me in was very good as were a couple of the other people on the desk. The first morning the desk person was late and looked like they were high or at least hung over and the breakfast that was put out was missing utensils and they disorganization made you question how the food was handled. The room is dated, but was clean except for the bathtub. Because it had enough soap scum on it that it clearly hadn't been cleaned for more than just one guest, I went to the store and purchased a sponge and cleanser to clean it myself. Location was good and it was not very loud. The pillows were hard. But you get what you pay for, right?

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Out dated but clean room No bad smells nothing bad or odd. Room was wheelchair accessible and laid out well. The front desk provided a shower chair. Shower was tight but had nice hand held sprayer.

The best thing about the stay was Rosa, I believe she is the manager. She was awesome despite having staff that was subpar. The first room given was gross but she was quick to try to fix it. She gave us a new room. When staff didn't show up to make breakfast she, despite working until midnight, quickly made breakfast. From what I was told the housekeeping staff didn't come in either. The lobby was clean and so were the halls. The grounds around the hotel were decent. It is fairly conveniently located around restaurants and if you need basics

we basically just slept there as we had a lot to do in the area. We have stayed there a lot of times over the years. Everyone is always nice.

The bathroom was clean. The lamp shades were filthy to the point of being almost gross. The bedside table had something sticky on it. The bed was comfortable. The towels were soft. The pillows were hard as a rock. Some of the furniture was very stained but the microwave was brand new.This area is very limited in hotel availability. Overall it had some nice points but needs a little more care.

The attendant at the front desk was quite rude when I arrived at 1:30 and kindly asked if I could check in. She simply stated for $50. I said really even if my room is ready? She said "For $50" She could have easily stated it in a more customer service friendly fashion by saying. "I'm sorry but the hotel policy required me to charge an extra $50 for any early check ins." I was instantly soured by her attitude. Later after I checked in, this same clerk was training a new desk clerk and had (3) guests waiting at the front desk to check in. I walked by and overheard her reprimanding this new person about having a drink behind the counter and ordered her to dump it out. This could have easily waited until there were no guests present. It was really unprofessional and down right stupid. The clerk she was training check me in earlier and was kind and professional. She had no trouble taking care of my needs and even tried to assist carrying my luggage upstairs once we realized there was no elevator present. The room itself must not have been occupied for quite some time as there was a ring of dirt on the inside of the toilet. The bed had a long dark hair in it and I'm not sure if the sheets were never changed or the hair belonged to the maid service. Other than these things, the hotel was fine. The pool was very clean and the breakfast decent. Not really much hot to eat but waffles and the same biscuits and gravy were served both Saturday and Sunday.
