Amazing hospitality by the staff
Pros:

Had a really good 2-night stay during Eid! The hotel is 25 years old but very clean and well-kept. The staff went above and beyond, they let us into our room right when we arrived, allowed us a late check-out, and let us use the facilities after check out. Special thanks to Patricia at the pool area, she was incredibly kind and gave us a wonderful welcome. In-room dining was also good and prompt. Thank you to the whole team for a great stay!

Cons:

The food felt average for a 5-star property and lacked flavor. The pool area is a bit dated and could use a remodel. It was also very loud with little privacy, and finding a sunbed was difficult (though understandable given the holiday crowd).

Beside that one interaction it was pleasant.
Pros:

The facilities were nice.

Cons:

Had a bad interaction with a drunk residence while checking in. He verbally threatened me and the receptionist didn’t do anything even tho I informed him of the situation which also happened right next to him.

Great family friendly hotel.
Pros:

After an initial check in confusion about requiring connecting rooms vs adjacent (young kids) we were then offered an alternative room which turned out to be the presidential suite.
Big kudos and thanks to the intercontinental team for that upgrade.
The room was enormous and very comfortable.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
A special mention to coral restaraunt executive chef Tim Hunt who not only works tirelessly from morning to night but took time more than once ro give recommendations to my wife and kids about various choices and even checked in with myself when one of the kids had an upset stomach to see how he was getting on.
The food in coral was amazing with a huge range of options and kids eat for free for hotel residents!
Our regular server Tsufuleli was also lovely and took care of us and the kids in particular really well making everyone feel welcome and looked after.

Pool and beach area was well laid out and large enough to deal with the number of guests.

Cons:

Minor items only.
Cocktail pitchers from the pool bar, volumes and consistency of flavour/mix was a bit variable.
No single malts on the regular/room service drinks list, although we weren't able to reach the cigar bar so cant speak to whats available there.

Kids activities could do with a dedicated co-ordinator to round up kids and get then involved and make sure they know where to find the activity.

Options on booking.com or the hotel site to select connecting rooms for young families.

overall is very nice
Pros:

Room was fantastic , clean and wide enough , but breakfast timing is not so good it is from 6 to 10:30 , not enough time to wakeup and get ready , also we had to wait for long time for a table to be free , it is so crowded which made the place is very messy

Cons:

breakfast timing and waiting I prefer it to be from 7 to 11
