Excellent hotel beach and spa.
Especially great service at the executive lounge by Camille, Shaira, Obi and Agnes. Thank you for a lovely stay:)
Wonderful Iftar dining experience by the pool at the Coral, thanks to Nisar, Thina and Hussain.
Wonderful family experience. I want to thank so many staff for making it unforgettable; Sanjay for our impeccable and kind room service, Trisha, Philip & Imran at Coral. Isaac & Brian at the pool. Huge thank you for our stay
Wanted to thank Irhene, for the excellent service at the business centre!
Stayed here for the last 9 nights in a club lounge access room and had a lovely stay.
Room had a lovely big bed and bathroom - with shower and separate bath plus toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). Water provided daily plus hairdryer and iron in the room as well as a coffee machine and kettle. The pre-set lighting/curtain configuration took a bit of getting used to, but we worked it out in the end!
Breakfast could be eaten in the club lounge, which we did the first couple of mornings, but then we personally preferred the greater choice offered at the main dining area buffet - it was fantastic with an egg cooking station too.
We had afternoon tea in the club lounge (as our lunch) for most days and special mention to Agnes’s service.
Canapés and drinks in the evening were plentiful and suited us instead of a full dinner (after having a big breakfast and the afternoon tea!)
Worth noting that should you have a very early morning flight (as we did) and leave before breakfast, down in reception there is hot drinks, fruit, juice, water and pastries available to box up and take away.
We spent a lot of time relaxing at the beach - sun loungers were plentiful and we never had an issue, neither did we need to be up early to reserve in the mornings! It was notably busier on Sunday and the beach become fuller than other days, but still able to get beds.
Uber is very easier to use and we got Ubers to and from the airport as well as Pearl Island/Crystal Walk. For our other days/evenings out (Katara Village, Vendome Mall, Souq Wakif, Old Port/Mina district) we got the metro/walked…..metro is very easy, less than 10 mins walk from the hotel to the nearest station and really cheap (£1.20 ish for a daily travel card). Lines are easy to follow.
We were there just as Ramadan began and there is no alcohol allowed to be served in the hotel (you would have to use that which is in the room mini fridge) but breakfast times and afternoon tea remain unaffected (but we were told the evening dinner times are amended in the restaurants)
Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the hotel and in Doha itself.
Very friendly staff such Kamal,Masun,Hussain,Imran,Thiha,Nisar,Shanny,John. An amazing experience all round.I would recommend without a doubt.
We had great experience by Abdul great service, pool view is nice and food and drinks are amazing
The service at breakfast in the Club Lounge is outstanding and is a credit to the hard working staff members - Satt and Charisse. Thank you for looking after us so well during our stay in the Club Lounge.
Amazing service, amazing
Thanks to lakmal our room steward amd all the staff who were world class
We had a spectacular time , from start to finish. Superb service, friendly staff, great food, clean, tidy, comfortable, it was just great. I would highly recommend, special should out to Akhil, serving drinks on the beach. Recommend booking club as loads included which saves money in the long term. Also you get free access to beach club Le Mar next door which is stunning!
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to the Maldives.
I'd been to Qatar a while ago and as we like Abu Dhabi & Dubai, this was an interesting option.
We had airport transfers included in our package and the journey was no too long.
There was a bit of a queue for check in, but we served quite quickly and the service was really helpful.
Our room was on the 6th floor overlooking the St Regis next door.
The room was large and clean. Nespresso maker & mini bar. Robes & slippers. A bath and shower. The room was very quiet although I could hear a bit of noise from the room next door.
The hotel has quite a few restaurants and we only fancied something light, so went to the main Coral restaurant, but they were doing a fixed price all you can eat deal, so we went to the Greek restaurant, Mykonos instead. The food and service was good, They had entertainment, plus they did a plate smashing activity, where we got the chance to smash plates too.
We had breakfast included and the options at Coral were extensive and set us up for the day.
We sat around the pool on both days. It is large and adjacent to the beach with great views in both directions. There are lots of loungers and massive umbrellas.
There is a pool bar, and I tended to go up and order, as they didn't come around that often. They did come around with some freebies, like juice drinks.
As Ubers are so cheap, we used the location to visit The Pearl, Qanat Quartier, Rialto Bridge, Katara Towers and Villagio Mall.
We ate elsewhere for the other evenings, going next door to the St Regis for a great Mexican at Bodega Negra.
The InterContinental has limited evening drink options, the Belgian Bar is more like a cafe and sports bar and the cigar lounge is way too smoky, so we went elsewhere for swanky drinks. The Raffles Acoustic Music Penthouse is a must. The Engine Room, in the St Regis is a petrolheads dream.
The staff were exceptional, always pleasant and attentive. Seamless check in and check out. Our room was amazing, we enjoyed it very much. Sumith from housekeeping was so helpful and the room was always beautiful- my husband was surprised with fruit and a cake on his birthday 😊
The food and service were 10/10
We went to the spa which was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, so good.
The hotel has so many activities and sunbathing areas with a lovely private beach.
We would thoroughly recommend.
Intercontinental Doha . Very friendly and helpful staff especially Hussain and Imran. Went out of their way to look after us. Lounge was very well equipped with good food and staff

Service 5
Excellent value for money. Truly 5 star
This is our second stay at this hotel. The service is our is this world. Check in process was quick and efficient with our bags arriving at our room minutes after we got there. The room was spacious, immaculate and had the comfiest bed ever. We were on the 5th floor and have to have a big shout out to Rashed from housekeeping who kept out room immaculate and is an asset to the team.
We had booked a club room so had access to the club lounge. The lounge served breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés/drinks 6-8 at night. We opted to have breakfast at the coral reef restaurant each morning as the selection and quality on offer was the best I’ve ever seen. The staff at breakfast we super attentive and although cranberry juice wasn’t available from the buffet we asked and they kindly brought the wife a glass each morning. They offerings were from all over the world, European, Asians, middles eastern and all of the highest quality.
Although this hotel is huge there was never an issue getting a sunbed and there were staff coming round regular offering melon or bottles of water. We ate dinner in Mykonos, Villa Beruit and Novecento. All three were very good in terms of quality and variety available. Drinks and canapés in the club lounge at night were of a good standard and all the staff in the club lounge were so helpful and friendly. Agnes always had a smile on her face and was always asking if there was anything we needed.
As a rule we generally don’t return to the same place more than once in fear of it not being as good the second time round. The professionalism of the staff, the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere means we’re already looking to book again soon.
Fantastic hotel which we’ve stayed in twice now. Great pool and beach with plenty of loungers. A nice beach bar with good music playing. Another bar upstairs with live music in the afternoon/evening which is great. A very well equipped gym.
Coral restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dinner buffets with different themes in the evening. Definitely worth getting the full board package. Staff at the restaurant are so lovely and helpful too, a special mention to Adil, Hussain, Imran and Kamal who always remembered the drinks we liked, gave advice on things to do and never stopped smiling, they were staff that really cared so thank you.
Wonderful stay and outstanding service!
We would like to give special thanks to Imran, John, Nisar, and Khant. These four truly made our experience exceptional. They were attentive, kind, professional, and always ready to help. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests, and their attitude made a real difference during our stay.
The breakfast was excellent – fresh, delicious, and with a great variety of options. Everything was well presented and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
We are extremely satisfied with the hotel overall and especially grateful to Imran, John, Nisar, and Khant for taking such great care of us. We would happily return again.
We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Doha. As a family traveling with our 18-month-old baby, the facilities were perfect for us. We truly enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the small playground area where our daughter could have fun and play safely.
The buffet breakfast was very complete, with a great variety of options. The staff were consistently kind and welcoming, and the service team was always attentive to anything we might need. Our room was fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and our baby’s crib was ready upon arrival — we didn’t have to request anything extra, which made our experience even smoother.
The only suggestions we would mention are that the TV did not have integrated Netflix or Smart TV features, and there was some noticeable noise in the hallway. We could hear doors opening and closing and occasional conversations in the corridor, which sometimes disturbed our baby’s sleep.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and truly appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and attentive service.
I would like to thank Nikka, Ansarul, and Sital from housekeeping for their great service. They kept the room very clean. They were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Thank you for your hard work!
Riyaz is very kind and friendly. I had a smooth and enjoyable ride from the airport to my hotel.
