Reid Ridge Lodge

We have stayed at this hotel a total of 4 times. A few weeks ago we stayed again. We love the location and the hotel itself is fine. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights and when we arrived we decided to only stay one night. I cancelled the second night with the front desk staff and was told twice that the second nights charge would be refunded within a couple days. No refund ever came. I called the hotel and was told to call back later that day. I did and again was told it should be refunded. It wasn't so I called again and spoke to the owner. He was very rude and hung up on me. I called the next morning and was told they couldn't do anything for me and to call expedia. I booked directly with the hotel so I can't go back through expedia. The lady insisted I booked with expedia and then said to call back later and speak to the owner. Needless to say, I still haven't received a refund for the second night and will NEVER stay there again. The staff (except for Carol) were extremely rude.

Reid's Ridge Lodge was very nicely done in a mountain cabin theme. The room was clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The Lodge is easy to access and close to restaurants and shopping and downtown. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for my husband and I. The room was clean and the front desk was wonderful. I really appreciated them calling to check on us since we had a later check in time.

We love staying here and will be back. The only little quirk that got me was that there was no stopper in the tub, and no grate over the sink. Other than that, we are always happy here!

Not alot of "extras", but super clean, which was awesome

The plumbing wasn’t working. Couldn’t take a bath or use the sink

Location is very convenient to the area. Room was clean, staff was accommodating.
My only suggestion would be to make some updates to the rooms.

Staff were very friendly, room was clean. Repairs were needed in room and surrounding area and maybe more breakfast options

Good condition for an older place

Room was clean and so cute and country. I felt like I was in a cute cabin. Loved it.

We had trouble signing in. He didn't want to give me the room I reserved. He knew the bed was horrible. One side of the mattress was so depressed, I had trouble staying on the bed. Find another place to stay, is my recommendation.

Room smelled of an extremely strong oder covering spray. The bed was the most uncomfortable one I’ve been on since summer camp as a kid.
When I checked out early I was refused a refund for the second night that I could not bear.
Worst experience at a motel in many years.

Just keep driving- I have no idea how this place got any good reviews. Dimly lit, obnoxious fumes from some kind of cleaner or air freshener or something very strong. Knob missing to control air conditioning. No elevator, I didn’t realize this until we had checked in and asked to change to a first floor room but they could not. It was so bad that we just asked if we could get a refund and go find somewhere else- of course not- so we paid for a room we never used. Lesson learned, will not return

Would have been perfect had I not been shocked by the exposed wiring of the floor lamp in the sitting area of our suite - 110 volts per hubs. Hubs immediately unplugged lamp, and ran downstairs to tell young man at desk (who said he'd send maintenance up in the morning). I walked downstairs with floor lamp in hand and placed it in front of the desk. When reported to day manager the next morning, he stated, "Well, what do you want me to do about it? We have 65K people come through this hotel every year." I stated, "Well, if you do nothing else today besides collect people's money, how about checking the light fixtures in all of your rooms???." Further told him that I was a nurse and this could have seriously injured a heart patient or a child... He told me to get out. Thankfully, it was I (healthy) and not my husband (an open heart surgery candidate) who touched the lamp. I'm demanding a full refund from hotels.com primarily for the way I was treated by management. I was calm and polite until the the manager gave me attitude. It's been about 18 hours, and my hand is still throbbing. Will come back to visit, but will not stay here!

Comfortable room no concerns, clean, everything in working order, including K cup coffee machine and refrigerator, AC. Very convenient to town. Did not hear any noise. Would stay here again. Only issue is the continental breakfast was a 2 out of 10. Bagels were OK but tough toaster/MW helped. Juice machine was watered down, not drinkable. Coffee was great! Breakfast included yogurt, and packaged muffins, that was sufficient. Thanks

ok, you get, you pay for.

The knobs were broke on the ac unit, no way to turn air down. The shower was super slick. Overall not bad, clean and easy check in.

Clean comfortable & quiet.
