Convenient bed good, good buffet for breakfast
Didn't like that the curtains Don't block out light
This was a waypoint stop for me but the hotel was very efficient at check-in, room was clean, and staff was very friendly. Normal continental breakfast served in the morning, amble parking, and pretty quiet location (even being close to the interstate). Will likely be a go to place when I'm on the drive.
Comfortable, clean room. Excellent breakfast bar. Nice indoor pool with separate whirlpool.
Second time staying here within 4 weeks. That is how strongly I rate this Comfort Inn.
No disappointments.
Location off highway
Hardest beds I’ve ever slept in.
Clean, comfortable, affordable, and a good nights rest followed by breakfast! What’s not to love?
Clean, fairly quiet, friendly staff
Wonderful hotel—clean, comfortable, impeccably maintained, and serving a great hot breakfast.
I'm a Choice Hotels Diamond member, and I found this hotel completely by accident.
While on a solo motorcycle trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway, I spent the entire day riding in the rain. I exited near Fancy Gap for fuel, searched for nearby hotels, and this one popped up. I decided it was time to call it a day and get out of the weather.
The front desk agent and General Manager, Margaret, welcomed me with genuine hospitality. She checked me in early and even let me park my motorcycle under the front canopy to keep it out of the rain.
My room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the fluffy towels were a welcome treat after a long, wet day on the road.
I casually asked if the coffee was hot, and by the time I had unloaded my bike, Margaret had brewed a fresh pot. That level of service really stood out.
After a great night's sleep, I enjoyed a wonderful hot breakfast. Before I headed back out, the morning front desk agent immediately offered me a stack of old towels so I could wipe down my wet, road-grimy motorcycle. It was another small gesture that showed how much the staff genuinely cares about their guests.
This hotel was an unexpected gem, and I'm glad I stumbled across it. If you're riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and exiting at Fancy Gap, do yourself a favor: instead of turning left toward Mt. Airy, turn right and spend the night here. I think you'll be as glad as I was.
The receptionist at check in was fantastic and the breakfast was great!
Everything was pretty good. The rooms could use a little updating but it was still nice.
Not sure why this is getting good reviews. Small rooms, older worn furniture, dirty windows, elevator and carpet. Not worth the cost.
Headed to wv this time so we stop over night here its one of our go to spots with timing and parking we use to bring our pop up camper now we have a travel trailer so I called weeks in advance cause this is popular place for over night stays and yes they had parking for trailers n semis so we got in late saw one spot taken up so we had to ask front desk where we could park there a truck stop next door and gravel road next door it was good n safe no issues! Check in was smooth very nice people very welcoming ! We were on 3rd floor room was good view was good ac worked good looks like they started to upgrade i saw tvs are bigger ! Only thing was bathroom shower tile n roof needs a bit updating but overall no complains really! We will be back again if we're passing through ! Thanks again for good time !
The room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable but there was a strong unpleasant smell from the carpet
I travel often for business and I stay at some of the finest hotels.
This cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at and the funniest thing is it was also the cheapest hotel the Stafford this hotel should train all other hotels on how to clean a hotel. I will be back next time. I’m in the area.
Swimming pool, hot breakfast, Microwave, refrigerator, close to thruway, friendly staff, coffee and cold lemonade, reasonable price!I will stay there again.
I have no complaints!
Room was very clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. No room issues whatsoever.
Breakfast had a variety of choices and everything I had was tasty and filling. Very nice pool and hot area.
Cannot think of anything that was not to my liking. Really I was very pleasantly surprised just how nice this Comfort Inn was.
