We booked a river view room and we had a very nice view. Location is great, walking distance from the town centre.

The perfect place to enjoy Sligo!
Pros:

Great location for exploring Sligo town center. Easy walk from the bus station. We had a river view and it was worth the upgrade. Breakfast was delicious. Their front desk staff were some of the nicest and helpful people we have met in a long time.

Great location undermined by avoidable service and housekeeping issues.
Pros:

The location is good with easy access to the town centre. Most rooms have a clear view of the river.

Cons:

The reception staff appeared disengaged for example on departure, I was not asked whether my stay had been satisfactory. They do not appear interested. On the first night, I found a large spiky toothpick in the bed. The following day, after housekeeping, large wet cleaning cloths were left on the floor. The hairdryer did not work and the room temperature cannot be adjusted without contacting reception, which often appears to be staffed by just one person handling multiple responsibilities. This is a pity, as the hotel is in an excellent location and would otherwise be my hotel of choice.

Great location close to everything. Excellent restaurant. Comfortable beds and good breakfast with a view of the river.
