Classic Santa Barbara beachfront hotel nestled in a garden.
Pros:

The Milo is a collection of small hotel buildings into a beautiful community. The proprietors offer a long list of amenities with most of them being at no additional cost. The gorgeous, mature landscaping ties together six classic two-story buildings and two pools that line the beach at arguably the most open beachfront on Cabrillo boulevard. The location between Stern's wharf and the harbor/marina gives you walking access to the majority of Santa Barbara's ocean attractions, State Street shopping, and a goodly number of restaurants and cafes. The staff is very friendly, profession, and super accommodating. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The views from many of the rooms across the harbor and beach are stunning.

Great place near the water.
Pros:

Great location, we did the family suite with bunk beds for the kids. Main room is big enough with a small sitting area in front of the bed. Would have liked a dresser for storage, but other than that it was really nice. They did a beautiful card for my son’s birthday. We came for a wedding and everything was either a short walk or an even shorter uber ride away. The restaurant next door Chads is good also. The complimentary beach chairs were perfect and my son loved the free bike rental. I’d definitely stay again. Santa Barbara is an amazing town.

Motel being advertised as a 4 star hotel
Pros:

This is a motel with thin cheap walls on top of the main road where you hear every car, person, step. The hotel has no service, bar, or restaurant besides a valet. The rooms are tiny and and have no building it’s just a motel , I left after first night and ate the cost.

A beautiful memorable experience
Pros:

The whole place was beautifully designed, the room was lovely, clean and pretty. Staff were amazingly helpful and facilities were great. I can't recommend it enough!
