Nice and Convenient but Hotel is Rigid in reservation changing

I had to travel and cut my stay shorter by 2 nights the hotel refused to refund or even consider charging one night instead of 2

Priveliștea și patul au fost cele mai bune.

Cons:

Partea de mic dejun… am mâncat un ou… cu alergie la lactate nu aveai absolut nimic ce să mănânci dimineața deoarece toate conțineau lapte sau proteină din lapte.

A 5 star hotel with 3 star comforts and service
Pros:

Location , concierge service, some Floret restaurant food are all good, that's all

Cons:

Quite a few things did not go well.
First the property is old, the hot water is not HOT at all and the water pressure force was poor, it was dripping.
The carpets are old and sticky and was at a stage mere cleaning cannot bring any life to it. The beds are just ok but age shows up.
The breakfast spread is very minimal and honestly even a 3* hotel will provide a better spread.
The lifts are old and cramped , cannot handle more than four guests at a time . Just ONE lift for an entire 5th floor side wing
Some front office staff are not customer friendly. Simple requests for changing small notes to coins are refused.When requested once for small euro notes to coin change, one staff says cannot give 50C coin change for two EUROs but fortunately another staff obliged. When asked, he says different person different decision. The reply did not sound right, you can infer rest. The laundry service is ok but very costly. They charge for dry cleaning but it seems they process clothes in washing machine only.
Now , what is good ? The location of the hotel , concierge service and Floret restaurant food are all good,

Cons:

Hotel made effort to provide hard pillows but they are (two out of three) not convenient for using. Only one one was good, slim and firm.
Not good soun insulation of windows but this is something that can not be easily and cheaply improved.
