The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul

My stay here was nothing short of exceptional. I booked the Ritz Carlton with my friend for my birthday weekend after reading positive reviews. I was pleased to find out that the service was just as I read. From the small details to the attentive and friendly service - nothing was too much trouble.

I was made to feel so special on my birthday with more than three cakes sent to my room. I’d like to also especially thank Yusuf and Reham at reception who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and also Bariş at concierge. Staff remembered me by name which I thought was an personal touch. Breakfast was great with various selections and special thanks to Aysun who made me feel special every day at breakfast and was so attentive. The room were clean and modern, and the bathrooms classic and beautiful with marble interior.

The amenities in the hotel were definitely of a 5 star standard and I’d like to also thank I will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next trip.

The only thing I would say is that I wish there was a Jacuzzi in the hotel other than that everything was perfect!

The breakfast was also outstanding enriched and offering excellent variety.

It was our first time visiting Istanbul, and The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul was the perfect final stop to conclude our vacation on a truly memorable note. As Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador members, Marriott properties have been our priority choice throughout our journey from Madrid to Istanbul, and this stay beautifully reaffirmed why.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Max, who kindly showed us around and escorted us to our room, was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful. His sincere hospitality made us feel immediately at home and set a wonderful tone for our stay.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the lounge team, especially the two lovely ladies, Ms. Eylem and Ms. Meryem. They were incredibly friendly, engaging, and prompt in attending to all our requests, always with bright smiles and genuine care. During a pleasant conversation with Ms. Eylem, we shared about our food tour earlier that day and mentioned our love for Turkish olives and Turkish delights. Knowing that we were departing the very next day, she went above and beyond by thoughtfully preparing a beautiful gift featuring our favorites. Such a small yet deeply meaningful gesture truly touched our hearts and exemplified exceptional service.

Thank you to the entire Ritz-Carlton Istanbul team for your warmth, thoughtfulness, and impeccable hospitality. You didn’t just provide us with a stay — you gave us a sweet and unforgettable ending to our vacation, one that we will cherish long after we leave.

Fantastic staff and hospitality. The Club lounge staff Selim and Gúlcan anticipated are every need. If I have the opportunity to return to Istanbul I will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time at the Ritz Carlton. The club lounge on the 12th floor was one of the highlights where food was served with amazing care and attention to detail and was incredibly tasty and delicious. Our waitress Gulcan was excellent.

My daughter and I had a six day stay at the RC in Istanbul. From the moment we arrived, until the day we left, we were treated wonderfully. ALL of the staff were friendly and eager to help. The hotel itself gleamed from top to bottom. Our room had a view of the Bosporus. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet each morning and the staff were always welcoming. They even made sure that I had a cup of orange juice with me to take back to the room. The buffet has everything imaginable including Gluten Free items and Vegan/Vegetarian items.
On one of our outtings, my daughter left her cell phone in a taxi. I want to thank ANAKAM for helping us locate it. He took time researching how the phone could be located. I wish I had the name of his female co-worker who also helped my daughter. The good news was we were able to get the phone back!
I highly reccomend this luxurious hotel!

Our second visit to Istanbul and we decided to return to the Ritz Carlton as we had a wonderful experience the first time we visited last year. We had a wonderful time yet again, the room was perfect and we had exceptional service from the staff. The highlight for me this time round had to be the indoor pool as we didn’t get access last time due to the renovations at the time. The pool is a good size and has an amazing ceiling. It reminded me of the Venetian in Las Vegas albeit smaller scale. A beautiful Renaissance-era art piece of the Venetian sky. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if visiting Istanbul.

This amazing woman made our stay absolutely fabulous! She's soattentive to detail, so caring, and such a warm-hearted person that words can'tdescribe it! We arrived at the hotel at 8 a.m., very tired after a long flight. Theyimmediately brought us hot coffee to warm us up, showed us to the lounge areawith hot drinks, pastries, and champagne. We were absolutely delighted!
We booked a room with a side view of the Bosphorus, and it wasabsolutely stunning! The room was very clean, large, and beautiful. I fell inlove with the bathroom, every detail. It even has both a bathtub and a shower.There are plenty of towels, and they change them regularly. We went for a swimin the hotel pool that evening, and by the time we returned, our towels andslippers had already been changed.On the second day of our stay, our dear Yeliz arranged for us to receivea room upgrade in honor of my mother's birthday. Rooms are booking up atbreakneck speed, so make sure to book in advance. The room was simplymagical—large, with a huge panoramic window—it felt like you were floating inthe sky with the whole city in the palm of your hand. It truly was a fairytale! On our birthday, they brought us balloons, wine, and a delicious cake(it was simply divine!).
At breakfast at the Atölye Hotel restaurant on my mother's birthday theybrought us a stunning dessert with a candle. My mother was absolutely delighted. I'd like to especially mention the wonderful, amazing staff of thisrestaurant: our beloved hostess Beril (we fell in love with her), Mr. FurkanÇelik, who is very attentive and caring, the amazing and sensitive Bahar, ourhandsome waiters Burak and Umut, and thank you, dear Selen. We also thankDorukhan Türer for his attention. Honestly, we received so much attention,care, love. This review turned out to be quite lengthy, but in reality, it's only asmall part of the emotions we experienced over three days.During this time, we felt incredibly important every minute. Our amazingYeliz constantly delighted us with surprises and amazed us. Yeliz is amazing, a true professional! If you see her at the hotel, give her warmestregards from Moscow!

Stunning views of the Bosporus! Great service, friendly and helpful staff. There was a bit complication with other guests at the lounge, but Eylem and Baran, managers at the lounge, sorted out. Overall great experience as always with the Ritz.

We arrived at the hotel at 8 a.m., very tired after a long flight. They immediately brought us hot coffee to warm us up, showed us to the lounge area with hot drinks, pastries, and champagne. We were checked in within 20 minutes, even though check-in is officially at 3 p.m. We were absolutely delighted!
We booked a room with a side view of the Bosphorus, and it was absolutely stunning! The room was very clean, large, and beautiful. I fell in love with the bathroom, every detail. It even has both a bathtub and a shower. There are plenty of towels, and they change them regularly. We went for a swim in the hotel pool that evening, and by the time we returned, our towels and slippers had already been changed.
On the second day of our stay, our dear Yeliz arranged for us to receive a complimentary room upgrade in honor of my mother's birthday. Rooms are booking up at breakneck speed, so make sure to book in advance. The room was simply magical—large, with a huge panoramic window—it felt like you were floating in the sky with the whole city in the palm of your hand. It truly was a fairytale!
On our birthday, they brought us balloons, wine, and a delicious cake (it was simply divine!), and each of us received a souvenir from the hotel.
At breakfast at the Atölye Hotel restaurant on my mother's birthday, I simply asked the hostess for a candle, which I wanted to insert into a croissant myself. In the end, they brought us a stunning dessert with a candle. My mother was absolutely delighted. I'd like to especially mention the wonderful, amazing staff of this restaurant: our beloved hostess Beril (we fell in love with her), Mr. Furkan Çelik, who is very attentive and caring, the amazing and sensitive Bahar, our handsome waiters Burak and Umut, and thank you, dear Selen. We also thank Dorukhan Türer for his attention. Honestly, we received so much attention, care, love, and even some amazingly delicious souvenirs as a parting gift.

This review turned out to be quite lengthy, but in reality, it's only a small part of the emotions we experienced over three days.
During this time, we felt incredibly important every minute. Our amazing Yeliz constantly delighted us with surprises and amazed us. One day, we returned to our room after a very cold walk (I initially instinctively wrote "home") and found a beautiful gift set of tea (we'd just mentioned our love for this drink in one of our conversations) with a warm note from her. Another day, we couldn't get to a Besiktas football match because we didn't have our football passports. To make things less disappointing, Yeliz gave us an incredible surprise: a cake with the Besiktas logo, which was a surprise. Yeliz is simply amazing, a true professional! If you see her at the hotel, give her warmest regards from Moscow!

I came here for my honeymoon. Everyone who have interacted with us at this hotel was nothing but kind and nice. It has been truly an exceptional experience more than we have initially thought. Also, check the incredible view from our room. I wanna especially thank Farkan at the breakfast place and a special thank you to Yeliz who honestly is the reason I will forever recommend and come to the Ritz-carlton. 🌹 I don't think you'd regret booking at this hotel.

Baran and Golcan both provided excellent service. They were attentive, friendly, and very professional throughout my visit. They made sure everything was taken care of and helped make the experience enjoyable.

The service at this hotel is exceptional. Both the front desk and the staff working at the lounge were super accommodating to us which was incredibly helpful when we arrived bleary-eyed from a long overnight flight. The bed is amazingly comfortable, and we had a great view over the Bosphorus. The gym and the spa are top notch.

A very good Central Hotel with all the comfortness and amenities restaurants that most hotels have but the Staff are the true GEM of this hotel . I would like to praise them ALL from the Securities , CONCIERGE , Luggage People , waiters , chefs , managers but most of All the front Desk Manager BORA KUP …… he went out of everything to make us comfortable and honestly we were treated like a KING & QUEEN ….. he had really made us feel we were at home and with all commodities the hotel can offer . Food at the buffet is amazing and service is excellent and attentive. Access to the lounge is pricy but is definetely worth it.

Great service, very clean and comfortable rooms. We spent 10 days and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Close to activities will definitely go back.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton over New Year’s and decided to begin New Year’s Day with massages. An excellent way to welcome 2026. Ryan arranged our appointments and we were attended by Nana and Nisa. Both therapists were attentive and responsive to our individual needs. We left feeling completely relaxed and very satisfied with the experience. We highly recommend SoulSpa for your next visit.

A great stay. We highly recommend taking the club lounge access which gives you access to breakfast, also bites and drinks for lunch and dinner. The view from the lounge is unparalleled and the staff are just the best. Elzim, Meryem, Boran, Gulcon, among others were very attentive to make our visits to the lounge memorable. The presentation of the food and wine at the Club Lounge was certainly superior to one of the restaurant we visited in the hotel.

From the minute we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. Mehmet was delightful as we checked in, we had a kind associate take us to our room (I was so tired I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name). He was very enthusiastic and helpful to get us settled into our room. Our room was fantastic, we were upgraded to a large corner suite overlooking the Bosphorus- gorgeous and a wonderful surprise. The gym and spa team were also very courteous-there is a Pilates reformer available to use!
The standout for us was the restaurant Atolye, it was excellent we ate there multiple nights. Our first night we arrived 10 minutes before closing, and the team was incredibly courteous and thoughtful. The food was absolutely amazing, my husband was somewhat nervous about Turkish food, but he enjoyed it so much we ate there again and again each and every time the service was very excellent. I wanted to give a special recommendation to Aysun who helped us each night at dinner and made sure that we had a very special evening. She was warm, friendly and helpful, by the end, she knew that my husband would order spinach as a side dish every night so she just got it ordered for us as soon as we sat down :). The Ritz called in an Istanbul an excellent choice in an excellent location if you should be in Istanbul for a few days.

Erna was a wonderful masseuse! Such an enjoyable experience. The pressure was just right and we relaxed with some tea before and after.
