Authentic Thai Meal
Pros:

This was an authentic Thai cuisine experience. After landing in Thailand and wanting something traditional, we opted to stay in the hotel and have a meal at Smooth Curry. The food, service and ambience were all perfect for what our family needed. Our server Sarinton was wonderful and extremely accommodating. Definitely a great meal.

5 Star Experience During Songkran at the Athenee Hotel

My family’s stay at the Athenee Hotel was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the level of service stood out—warm, attentive, and genuinely personalized without ever feeling overbearing. It’s clear the staff takes pride in creating a seamless luxury experience.

The food was another highlight. Breakfast, in particular, was exceptional, with a wide variety of high-quality options that cater to both international and local tastes. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious across the board.

A special mention must go to Panida, who made each morning truly memorable. Her service during breakfast was nothing short of spectacular—she was attentive, friendly, and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect. Beyond that, she offered thoughtful recommendations on what to see and do during the Songkran festival, which added a whole new layer to our trip. Her guidance helped us experience the celebration in a way that felt both exciting and authentic, from knowing the best areas to enjoy the festivities to practical tips on navigating the city during such a lively time.

Overall, The Athenee delivers a refined and luxurious stay, backed by outstanding service and excellent dining. It’s the kind of place where the people truly make the difference—and Panida is a perfect example of that.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff!
Pros:

I love visiting this hotel because of the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They always greet you and walk with you to the elevator. Always filled with so much positivity. I visit this hotel every time to eat at the House of Smooth Curry. Even the staff at the restaurant are very kind and always give their all for their customers and a great dining experience.

We had a truly wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, with both a bus stop and train station nearby. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options. Customer service was outstanding throughout our visit. Pros:

Top-notch hotel with one of the most amazing breakfast buffets I’ve ever tried. Jirawat was extremely kind and professional and provided incredible assistance to us.

Oh, the food
Pros:

Overwhelming hospitality, super friendly staff. Food is beyond - a huge variety at the three-room buffet, and I appreciate the many vegan options. Don’t know all the names of the excellent servers, but among them were Panida, Keaw, and Poo, where were always helpful and often quite interesting to talk with. Boopki (Pupki?) who maintained the room did an excellent job and was very sweet. The front desk are heroes of customer service. The staff running the lounges and elevators are always alert and friendly. Wish I knew all the names but great job.
