Absolutely worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

A lot of pimps and prostitution going on at this hotel. We felt so unsafe we decided to leave shortly after arrival. Hotel manager was not helpful nor able to relocate our room which had clearly been kicked in before.

Much improved!!!
Pros:

I was very pleased to see this property upgraded their rooms. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was perfect. My only complaint is it was unseasonably cold and we were unable to get the room past 67°.

Do not stay here
Pros:

Do not stay here!!! This is our 2nd time staying here. I was still having PTSD from the 1st visit which was a terrible experience. Required to stay here for a corporate event this time. Paper thin walls with crying baby next door. People smoking everywhere out front of the hotel. This time no towels in our room. Called down to the front desk to request towels and was told I’d have to come back down to get them at 11:30pm. Not a busy time of day, but she insisted that we would not get towels unless we came down. Absolutely unacceptable and she was rude!

I'll be back!
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean rooms! I think it was a great bang for my buck. I will definitely stay here again!

Cons:

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I'll be back again soon. I love CLT and I love this hotel.

The HVAC unit in the room was too noisy and the toilet was running and ghost flushing throughout the night.

It was bad.
Pros:

I was at a conference and I found bed bugs and the general manager was talked to and was supposed to get back with me. I haven't heard anything from him yet.

Cons:

Bed Bugs and your general manager not following up with the problem of bed bugs. I had to take my grandsons to the doctor for all of the bites and they confirmed that they were bedbug bites

Meh, for the money.
Cons:

Noisy. Not people but maybe heating/cooling? Not sure source but there was a lot of noise.

It was unimpressive once you looked beyond the decor.
Pros:

the room was nice (aesthetically) as was the rest of the building.

Cons:

Outside of the surface appearance, the hotel was severely lacking. Staff was unpleasant and arguably rude. There was no blow dryer in the room. There was no available food after I believe 10 or 11pm. The dining room was closed. There was no room service or even a vending machine. I had medication that required food to be taken with it. There was not even small items available for purchase at the front desk. It was obvious that major corners had been cut. It felt chintzy and a far cry from the Hilton that garnered an outstanding reputation in the past.

Great experience, would stay again!
Pros:

I loved the room, everything was clean and ready for me when I arrived. This is in a great location as it is close to any and everything that you would need for a weekend stay.

Cons:

Nothing on the hotel, but someone close to us blasted music for 8-9 hours. That was the most annoying thing about the whole trip. I guess we picked the wrong weekend for it to be entirely peaceful.

Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Customer Service

Great hotel! Rebecca at the front desk saved me. She was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed for our trip. Close to everything with good food choices nearby.
