The staff provided exceptional service, contributing to a serene and comfortable experience. The accommodations were well-maintained and immaculate. The location offers convenient access to local retail establishments and diverse dining options, in addition to the on-site bar and restaurant facilities.i would definitely stay there again

The weekend of my stay to this Hilton, an educational conference was being held. They were quiet and unobtrusive to any other guests. A wedding party was also there and many others in town for speedway to CLT sporting events - (kept hearing staff mention the property was sold out).

CONS:
There are 4 elevators, but often just one is dispatched. Location of the gym, is tucked up & around from the main door entrance - (not prime spot for 'wanting' to workout).
There is no restroom on the LOBBY floor, you must venture down to the conference area. The smoking container is too close to the front door and being it was quite windy made for a absorption of fumes, smoke and the like as we walked in or out - since there is JUST one entrance door to this property.

The exterior of the hotel is dated - (inside updated).

Many police cars (SUVs) would be by the door from around 9pm -4am off and on.
That presence creeped us out a tad - as we ventured to walk around. WE WERE UNABLE to with the metal fencing blocking off the lake to the parking lot, or to the hotel. And it was rather dark due to low or limited lighting sources on the property grounds, but not being able to 'take it in' was a let down. It felt as if were in a fort with ONE way out or IN. As former military, this property triggered my PTSD and I will opt to not select this property for a return stay on THAT fact alone.

Floor plan, room numbering system was unlike most other Hiltons. Once inside - typical flare and layout. The 2 items of note - (the shower water temp was far TOO hot) and the pull out drawer near the toilet only came out 4-5 inches because of its close proximity to it.

PROS:
Parking was included, and it was quiet during our stay.
Many options for shopping or food are close as is the regional train service.
Nice front desk staff.

This is the only place I stay whenever I'm in Charlotte!

View was amazing next to lake. Room clean, bed comfy and great shower. Staff especially in restuarant and breakfast service friendly.

Nov 30, 2025. Nice hotel. At dinner at the hotel bar and thought food was good. Room was clean and updated. Has an executive lounge with small buffet breakfast line in the am and some appetizers and drinks for early evening. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a central location to the interstate and several restaurants. The hotel and hotel room were clean. We enjoyed the Executive Lounge amenities. Ricardo and his team that manage the executive lounge are exceptional. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The room is ok. The hotel is crowded and looks fully booked. This hotel has a major safety issue. The front desk is uncontactable at all hours. When I tried to get an early check in? The hotel is not contactable. Even Hilton customer service couldn’t get in them. You have to physically present yourself at the hotel.

After checking in, you couldn’t even call the front desk from your own room. They disconnected the phone. In short you can’t call room service, guest services, front desk even emergency from your own room. Power outlets are not working from certain locations, coffee machine missing parts so it couldn’t be used.

The location

I was very pleased to see this property upgraded their rooms. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was perfect. My only complaint is it was unseasonably cold and we were unable to get the room past 67°.

Do not stay here!!! This is our 2nd time staying here. I was still having PTSD from the 1st visit which was a terrible experience. Required to stay here for a corporate event this time. Paper thin walls with crying baby next door. People smoking everywhere out front of the hotel. This time no towels in our room. Called down to the front desk to request towels and was told I’d have to come back down to get them at 11:30pm. Not a busy time of day, but she insisted that we would not get towels unless we came down. Absolutely unacceptable and she was rude!
