Very poor value for money and unclear communication at reception
I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, honestly, I found the price far too high for the conditions offered. The invoice shows 340 EUR for the first night and 341 EUR for the second night, a total of 681 EUR for two nights.
The room did not offer anything special that could justify such a high rate. The amenities were minimal: only one bottle of still water and one shower cap, although there were two guests staying in the room.
Another unpleasant aspect was the lack of clarity regarding the amounts charged or held on the card. At reception, we were told that 50 EUR per person would be held as a guarantee and refunded later, but the explanation was not clear. Communication with the reception staff was difficult, both in Spanish and in English, which created confusion regarding payments and possible deposits.
Overall, the experience was not what I expected from a Hyatt Regency hotel and definitely did not justify the price paid. The value for money was very poor.

Hotel has regency club with all day snacks available. Breakfast had a lot of options- this is my new Madrid hotel!!

We were upgraded to a Premium room. It was luxurious and spacious. Housekeeping was excellent and made sure we had all that we needed as we got to our room.

Very quiet and relaxing.
Service
Excellent service at the front desk, bellhop, the breakfast buffet, and housekeeping. We ordered room service and had to call back to follow-up on the order. The front desk promptly corrected the oversight.
Before our trip, I sent a message to the hotel that we were celebrating my sister's retirement. The hotel provided a special dessert tray to surprise my sister. Thank you very much for this! She really appreciated the surprise and made our trip much more special.
Charming property with great location, service, appropriately decorated and well appointed rooms with great ‘home away from home’ amenities
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and had an outstanding experience. It was a pleasure being served by Jorge, whose professionalism and exceptional customer service truly stood out. Our group of eight was in town for a work conference, and every day Jorge provided the same level of attentive, first-class service as he did on day one. His consistency, positive attitude, GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR and dedication to ensuring a great experience made a lasting impression on all of us. He is a tremendous asset to the hotel, and I sincerely appreciate the excellent service he provided throughout our stay.
Excellent, clean hotel, and the rooms have enough space to spread out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and breakfast offered wonderful selections as well as a children’s buffet. We really enjoyed our stay. You can easily take the metro, and we used Uber to go to the city centre, but we learned to use taxis when available. It’s a little farther away from the main historical center, but we liked not having huge crowds. The front desk staff also called taxis to the airport for us. I would highly recommend this hotel!
