Nice neighborhood- far from tourist areas

This hotel was very comfortable. We splurged on the ambassador suite and it was pretty nice. It comes with a patio and “hot” tub. I say “hot” because it wasn’t too hot which was actually nice during the hot weather. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t ready at 4. We had to wait until 5 pm to check in. The guests before us must have had a REALLY good time in the room or something. When we finally checked in there was a dirty pair of stockings left in the room from the last guests. So obviously I cannot give them 5 stars. The hotel breakfast had a good selection and we enjoyed it. The location is far from tourist attractions and unless you want to take a couple of trains to get to a place, you will be taking taxis a lot. But it’s in a safe and pretty neighborhood. There’s a bodega nearby and quite a few restaurants. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t care about tourist attractions.

The hotel was far too expensive for the quality offered, with poor value for money, minimal amenitie

Very poor value for money and unclear communication at reception

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, honestly, I found the price far too high for the conditions offered. The invoice shows 340 EUR for the first night and 341 EUR for the second night, a total of 681 EUR for two nights.

The room did not offer anything special that could justify such a high rate. The amenities were minimal: only one bottle of still water and one shower cap, although there were two guests staying in the room.

Another unpleasant aspect was the lack of clarity regarding the amounts charged or held on the card. At reception, we were told that 50 EUR per person would be held as a guarantee and refunded later, but the explanation was not clear. Communication with the reception staff was difficult, both in Spanish and in English, which created confusion regarding payments and possible deposits.

Overall, the experience was not what I expected from a Hyatt Regency hotel and definitely did not justify the price paid. The value for money was very poor.

Top Madrid Option!
Pros:

Top Hyatt option in Madrid- great
Location staff and rooms.
As a Globalist was upgraded to a great suite with great views. Good A/C.

Hotel has regency club with all day snacks available. Breakfast had a lot of options- this is my new Madrid hotel!!

Easy access to hotel and easy for Uber/Cabify drop off and pick up!
