Pros:

Perfect location! Right in the centre but quiet. The hotel was lovely and the room bright, elegant and comfortable. We loved the high ceiling which made it feel spacious, and the view. We enjoyed a coffee in the sunshine out in the garden.

Cons:

I asked beforehand about the size of the bed and was reassured it would be king size or super king size, but it didn't seem big enough for these - it was comfortable though. The pictures of bathrooms showed separate showers, but this was an over-bath shower - it was fine, but not what we'd expected. Working the coffee machine was a bit of a mystery! None of these really impacted our enjoyment of the stay though. TCC

Pros:

Location is great being right in City Centre. Room clean and comfortable. a mini fridge would have been ideal. Additional not cheap! Breakfast was adequate, for a buffet. One person requested fresh poached eggs from a fleeting member of staff. Would have been nice if this was something I could have opted for.instead of precooked eggs keeping warm in containers.. Hotel very quite and rather quaint overall pleasant and convenient for overnight stay.

The location was perfect for us, I would definitely return.
Pros:

The breakfast was good, hot food with nice, fresh produce. The beds were comfortable, the shower nice and powerful.
The staff were very welcoming at reception.

Cons:

The seating at breakfast was a problem. We were a group of 10 and asked if we would be able to sit together . We were directed to a table which it transpires was set up for a wedding party. When the wedding party guests arrived for breakfast it was very awkward.
Also when asking about times for breakfast there seemed to be a confusion, I had booked but when a friend asked what time I had booked for, the receptionist said I hadn’t. It just seems that there may be a small problem with communication between staff members.
