Prachtig hotel in het centrum van Winchester, met eigen parkeerterrein. Mooie grote kamer met goede bedden. Ruime badkamer met bad. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo het centrum in.
Uitgebreid goed ontbijt.

We stayed on a very wet Sunday night and had a lovely meal. All the staff were lovely & friendly and we really felt welcome.
Room was comfy and a good size. Location of the hotel is perfect to walk to the cathedral & the local area. Parking on site makes a big difference. We will be back.

No real fire on when you walk in... Imagine how cosy that would make the place in Winter.

Great location, very central to the vibe of Winchester.
We have stayed on a number of occasions and previously have been in the newer part of the hotel, this time we were excited to be in the original building - not so much... it was cold and the bed, a double was tiny and uncomfortable. Very disappointing. The other issue is whilst there are lots of bars/pubs and other places to go in Winchester sometimes you just want to sit down in your hotel with a nice glass of something..... the service at the bar has always been awful, largely because this hotel holds large events but does not seem to appropriately man up for them!
The staff were excellent, told we had been upgrade to find out the bins opposite are emptied @ 6am great.!!! , burnt wrist on bathroom radiator as no signage displayed to say caution hot, and unable to turn down ☹️☹️
Breakfast was ok ish,but not the best, location was very central.
Room was upgraded and next morning woke by the bins being emptied at 6am, also no warning signs to say radiator in bathroom very hot.
Poor food quality ,no heating first night. They replace whole radiator.
Limied knowledge of English by some staff.
Excellent value for money. Hotel is an easy walk from train station and very central if you are visiting Winchester for key sights and/or shopping. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is excellently located for a visit to Winchester. Great service and pleasant rooms and common areas.
Afternoon tea wasn’t the best. Check in, room and location were all great. Breakfast and breakfast service was top notch. The variety and standard of the breakfast couldn’t be faulted… staff were professional and personable… well done. Just a disappointing afternoon tea

I requested a twin room but was given double, staff moved me without question.

There were no place mats so had to use something else to protect furniture.
We only stayed the night so can but service was lovely, the room was just tired, clean but stains on the carpet which was off putting. Scaffolding outside which if it was sunny would have ruined the view of the garden.
The location was superb, we really couldn’t fault the hotel, friendly staff, super clean, lovely comfortable big bed, what’s not to like 😀
