I stayed here for a night while visiting my son in Winchester.
It’s probably a 3 star hotel in the centre of the city.
I had a large double room with a super king bed, tea and coffee facilities and a small bathroom with a shower over the bath.
It’s akin to a Premier Inn but not as modern.
It was good for me for a night and very handy if you want a central location which is only a 10 min walk from the rail station.
Pricewise it’s also good value too.
Great choice to chose from full breakfast to cold meat very hot not cold plate.very clean as well .the room was very clean to look at.
We loved everything about the hotel, from the welcome we received upon arrival for the duration of our stay.
We intend to visit again, but for a longer stay next time.
We found fault with only one small matter, but this did not distract from our enjoyment. Rather than a shower cubical, the shower head was in the bath with a screen that was slightly too small. Water spray then found its way onto the bathroom floor.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Large room size. The gardens within the hotel looked nice.
The room decor needs updating. The locks on the windows were broken. It would have been good to have an earlier start for breakfast. 7.30am was too late which meant I had to check out with no breakfast,
