Breakfast was decent to good, good quantity.
Much older looking than pictures portrayed. Old mattresses & boxsprings alongside side and back of building and yellow crime tape (not kidding!) around entrance of office was pathetic! The appearance much more like an old & used-up travelodge than the way the pics portray.

Might be bed bugs on the bed because me and my kids woke up with lot of bed bug bites,
The lady running the front office in the morning was understandable and professional.
Our room had roaches in it. We saw them in the middle of the night and it was too late to request another room. I got an email from booking.com and they asked why we didn’t notify the front office to change rooms. They said we could have been moved to a newly renovated room. If that was available, why wasn’t that offered to us when we checked in?
Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and complete with a recliner chair. Enough space to maneuver and plenty of counter to place my belongings. If have the opportunity to stay again, I definitely will.
Only thing was my room was next to stairwell and I could hear every time someone went up and down the stairs with or without their luggage. Not much the complex could do about that without doing major construction to soundproof the walls and doors.
The location was great, easy access to historic San Juan Capistrano as well as San Clemente. The morning breakfast was fabulous!! Fresh, hot and delicious. Wonderful variety- eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles, fresh homemade oatmeal, yogurt, fruit- it really was excellent.
It was being remodeled and they were working on the room next door which made resting on a weekday afternoon difficult due to the noise.
The Spa (jacuzzi) was broken.
The location it was really nice. And the property was upgraded.
Nothing everything was excellent.
Floor was dirty but once we mentioned it, it was cleaned immediately and very well.
Spotlessly clean, large room, huge king bed (I'm 6' 1" and could sleep all angles - up/down, sideways, diagonally - without touching the sides!); very well-equipped room, great facilities, all mod cons, fabulous TV channels, plus the staff members on the front desk - especially Terence (I think that was his name) - were excellent.

The lady serving the breakfast was working extremely hard to satisfy everybody's requests, but she didn't have a lot to work with. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment as it was pretty sparse and very basic.
The hotel is also a stone's throw from the freeway so expect some traffic noise, but not a deal breaker, especially if you have the TV on.
Solo pasamos la noche ahí. Actualmente el hotel está en remodelación, así que hay un mix entre areas remodeladas y areas que se ven viejas. La habitación bastante amplia y en buen estado. Un desayuno muy completo aunque el área de comedor también está en plena remodelación.
Me tocó una habitación en el area que aún no se remodela, el aire acondicionado era muy ruidoso y vimos un par de cucarachas y un pequeño nido de arañas. Aún así no diría que la habitación estuvo sucia.

Good breakfast, does not have a lot of options, but enough (omelet, bagels, sausage, fruits, yogurt).
Due to the old tiles floor, the housekeeper’s car makes a lot of noise (enough to wake me up). The furniture is worn up (drawers don’t close anymore).
