Golden Host Resort - Sarasota

The pool was amazing

the room was super clean & the staff were really friendly. i enjoyed the fact that they came in while we were gone and changed out towels & took the trash out. also a plus: the drinks at the tiki bar are 10/10!!

My stay at Golden Host was absolutely awesome!!!
It was close to the airport, which was very convenient thank you so much.
I had an amazing time at the tiki bar,which included Drag Bingo,so much fun!!!! Prices were more than decent.
I couldn't ask for a better place to stay and if I'm in the area,it is definitely my go to place to stay!!!
I highly recommend to everyone to check this place out,you won't be disappointed

Relaxing and beautiful place! The garden and pool areas are very nice to exercise and practice yoga or meditation. The staff is super friendly! The rooms are great and you can park by your room. I feel at home at the Golden Host Resort. Thank you! 🙏😃💙

Great little motel at a reasonable rate. The pool area was fantastic and general areas were modern and set the holiday tone. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice but cleaning was the only thing I would fault, the room was surface level cleaned but the cleaners need to remember to clean under things and behind the beds

The room had an overwhelming musty smell, but seemed to be clean. I could not use the hairdryer, because the outlet the hairdryer was attached to, was not working (rm. 117). Bed was comfortable enough and the room itself was ok as well. I would stay there again, if the room would not smell of musty. Overall it was ok.

Very hospitable check in receptionist. Clean room, air conditioning units need to be upgraded in studio rooms.

This is the second time staying at this property the staff is very helpful and polite. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is also a plus.

Great staff and the best tiki bar

Staff very friendly. You can tell the age of the property but from what I could tell well maintained. Only thing I would say is the water pressure isn’t the best for my thick curly hair. This was the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and just booked a 3rd visit next week. I like to be left alone after procedures and they were very accommodating and understanding.

Great place to stay in Sarasota, the vibe is great, the staff is super nice and the rooms are just right.

Only stayed one night and weather was rainy during my stay so unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but liked having a balcony. Room is large and clean, cute retro appliances, friendly staff, good vibes at this hotel. Would recommend!

Property was great.it was everything that it said it would be. Was told by Expedia that I had a perk and to ask when I arrived at check in. When I arrived to the resort they said I was not given anything and that is was usually would pop up during check in. I showed them a screenshot of said perk but was not given anything.

Friendly and fast check in and check out, the room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable. Our room was away from pool so it was quiet, pool is big and deep and open until 10pm, very nice, good old tiki vibe. Old but clean hotel.
