Pros:

Location perfect, short walk to the station but also near the old town, easy walk to see a lot of Basel city's historic buildings, and to restaurants. Room was large, comfortable and well equipped - coffee machine, tea, hot chocolate. Even including one non-swiss power point for those without a Swiss adaptor. The pool was lovely, and the gym was a large and well equipped with weights and cardio gear. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free Basel card is a nice touch, wish we were staying longer to take advantage of the discounts and public transport card.

Cons:

We were a bit disappointed that the sauna was closed on the one day we were there. Also, one pretty creaky bed meant a somewhat disturbed sleep.

Wir haben unser Ladegerät mit zweitem Adapter im Zimmer vergessen. Am nächsten Tag habe ich angerufen und es wurde gefunden und an Reception abgegeben und mit meinem Namen zu Abholung angeschrieben. Als ich es 1 Woche später abholen wollte sei es niergends mehr. Immer wieder wurde mir versprochen das man es suchen würde mich retour anrufen. Aber im Gegeteil als ich immmer wieder anrufte wurde der Höhrer aufgehängt.Absolut entäuschend das Personal von Radisson sich so etwas elaubt.

Radisson Blu must update there website and stop misleading people.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, especially the man at the pool area reception.

Cons:

Their website clearly stated that the pool and sauna would be open until 20:45 daily. This is completely misleading, as apparently the closing time on Sunday has been 17:00 for years. The reception staff reassured us that we could enjoy the sauna on Monday morning, however on entering the pool area on Monday we were told that the sauna would be closed for maintenance for two days! Further disappointments, include: Our bed sheet was badly torn in three places and so I requested that it was replaced. The bath seal had black mould. Finally the curtains in our room had obviously been put on the wrong way so that the end did not stop a ray of light shining on me all night long.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the facilities were very clean and well kept.

Cons:

The room we stayed could use a visit from the facilities manager to fix few small issues. Especially the shelf below the sink in the bathroom.

Pros:

We really liked the convenient parking, friendly staff, and great location.

Cons:

The bathroom was quite narrow, the furniture felt a bit old—the bed made noise whenever we moved. Moreover, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the pool was cold and outdated.
