It was not good stay at all
As mentioned above
Good bar and facilities
Shower didn’t work on one occasion. I don’t think there was enough hot water
Had such a great vibe as soon as we worked in. The facilities were amazing room was so comfy clean and had everything we needed and more.
There is nothing I didn’t like
Nathan from reception was exceptional. He phoned me to talk through alternatives as the rooms we had booked were no longer available and within a couple of hours he had resolved everything to meet our requirements. He was also at reception to meet me and talk through everything to ensure I was satisfied. Excellent customer service and a great advertisement for the hotel. Well done Nathan!
The rooms were of a very good standard and housekeeping did a great job, refreshing and replenishing every day.
The food at the restaurant was good and competitively priced.
The pool was gorgeous and with a few jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and gym was a great leisure facility.
The hotel was very clean and it was obvious that there was great pride in their hotel by the way the staff cleaned and made it look presentable
The lady on breakfast every day was so welcoming and accommodating, resolving requests quickly. There was a young man at the bar who was also excellent. However, some of the young female staff may benefit from a little extra training in customer service especially around asking/reminding guests who had the app to show before ordering food and drinks so guests could take advantage of any offers which would have helped minimise the food and beverage costs.
The swimming pool is gorgeous, however it along with the jacuzzis was quite cold and the changing rooms were positively artic in temperature.
The rooms were more than adequate. However, not having a walk in shower is very unusual in this day and age and with the bath sides being quite a distance from the floor, getting in and out for some of the older members of our party proved quite a challenge.
It may also be helpful to advise guests of the extensive road works around and enroute to the hotel as we had to make a daily commute of 3 miles which took on average 30-35 mins due to the road works.
First hotel I have stayed in for many years with no vending machines for snacks and drinks and with Starbucks and the restaurant closing quite early nowhere to get snacks and drinks after they had closed.
Finally, I think breakfast could be served until 10am on a weekday and whilst it is open later on weekends not opening until 8am disadvantaged some of the guests who had to leave earlier to travel home.
Went with my family for a few days unfortunately my daughter and I was looking forward to the Aqua fit class unfortunately when we arrived, noticed the pool was milky cloudy and the spoked to the lady in the pool what happened with the water she said didn’t know either she was a regular to the class. The class tutor name Sue, started off ok with the warm up and after ten minutes we had to leave instantly the was poo floating in the water we was both shocked, mortified and had reported it at the time but the staffs was not interested to know we head to the steam room because it was inclusive with the booking. Based on what we have witnessed whilst we looked from the steam room door.Sue carried on with the class, like nothing happened when the lifeguard approached to update her on the situation with the floater in the poo. Disgusted, horrified with the lack of care and professional service the staffs do not wish to know not even the management they’re just careless and take your finance.
Lovely breakfast and hospitality
Bathroom - Shower holder is broken, toilet not clean and light is broken.
Bedroom - television remote was not worked
Loved hotel and facilities
Better breakfast
Le plancher des chambres craque.
Le Check in, Check out et restaurant tout est fait avec la tablette, plus de contact avec le personnel !
Great service from Tyler, who offered to bring our drinks over to our table.. which was much appreciated:)
central location with lots of restaurants etc just a short walk away
Spacious rooms, very clean
Noise (on this occasion). We stay regularly but this was the first time it was excessively noisy and the noise wasn’t from outside
Not sure of it was the location of the room being right opposite the lift but slamming doors was an issue.
Again this time the bed was very uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a board. Not the usual very comfortable bed we have had in a club room before. Not sure if it was because it was 2 twins zipped together but if it wasn’t for the mattress topper, it wouldn’t of been possible for me to sleep.
This doesn’t put us off coming back, in fact we have booked for July as we are regular guests and know this isn’t the usual experience. It was however a little disappointing on this occasion.
Great price, wonderful friendly staff. Especially the lady at breakfast, I think her name may have been Linda? Will definitely stay again.
