Great location and helpful staff with all the facilities!
Pros:

Clean and modern hotel with all the facilities

Cons:

Restaurant was very busy so had to wait a while for food. But staff were very attentive !

Great for a short stay with on the doorstep amenities.
Pros:

Its vicinity to the High Street with its’s cafes, bars, and shops is perfect. It is in walking distance to The Pavillion Gardens and The Opera House. We were able to park directly outside to load & unload but was very close to affordable parking.

Excellent Value for the Money
Pros:

Lovely warm room on arrival, excellent size and modern decor and furniture.Very good size bathroom with shower over the bath.The staff were lovely and friendly as Black Country folk usually are.

We are from New Brighton, near Liverpool, and visit Birmingham to see our daughter who now lives there. Out of all the hotels we have stayed at the Village hotel is the one we like the best. Staff are pleasant, rooms are very comfortable. And mostly we enjoy breakfast in the morning.

Cons:

Sometimes at night other people dont respect being quiet at night. I think if more signs could be put in place to tell customers to be quiet after certain time.

Overall the staff were excellent, accommodating, pleasant and professional. I would definitely stay

The breakfast was great, no problems

Cons:

Friday night the vibrations from music playing somewhere in the hotel was very loud that it felt as if the bed was moving at times. Also there was very strong smell of marijuana that could be smelled in our room which triggered my asthma.

Pros:

Ample lighting, as I had a bad migraine while I was staying and it was nice that the room had lots of different lights not just one big bright light. The bed was nice but quite high up so it was a struggle to get in and out of. Liked the style of the room

Cons:

It was rather noisy outside the room at certain times it felt like other guests walking past were literally in the room with you, it got incredibly hot at night tried to use the thermostat to turn it down but to no avail

The biggest issue was finding the room itself, myself and other guests we encountered were just walking around in circles until we found it. The layout of the hotel is not very straightforward and needs better signage

would only stay again if i could guarantee a room away from the fire door
Pros:

room was clean well decorated and a decent size
the room had an excellent shower

Cons:

our room was right next to a fire door which banged every time it was used which woke us throughout the night
when i emailed prior to arrival to find out if the breakfast could cater for a celiac i did not get a response and when i asked on arrival the receptionist didn't know so we were unable to take advantage of the early booking discount therefor we ate elsewhere
