Lovely hotel

Enjoyable and would definitely stay again.
Pros:

The hotel provided a continental breakfast each morning in-room. It was a nice gesture; however, we don't do pastries in the morning (the coffee cakes were tasty). Since we only drink beverages that are caffeine-free, we enjoyed the hot water. The mandarins were good.

Cons:

Provide herbal tea as an option.
Since the hotel does not have a restaurant, ensure the desk staff has a list of dining options for guests.

No parking, you have to find street parking which is difficult in a small town like this. We were assigned an outside building with ZERO soundproof, can hear EVERYTHING from the outside.

A lovely experience in a historic building
Pros:

This is an older, historic hotel- so be cognizant of that when you book. The walls are thin, but nothing we found unbearable. The hotel is located very conveniently which is a plus. The staff was incredibly nice, and overall we were happy with our stay.

Right in the heart of it all
Pros:

We stayed in the cottage, and it was quite comfy. It was wonderful just to walk straight out to the pool, and the dinner there was excellent..

Cons:

Since the water wasn't very tasty, they had a water station. In the hotel by the spa, it would have been nice to have something just a little bit closer to access. Maybe they do during the summer. This was January.

Pros:

Super nice staff and the pool and hot tub were very nice. Great to be able to walk to town.

Cons:

Someone smoking by the hot tub several times. Not the end of the world but awkward.
