Room was clean but they could have provided cleaner bed sheet. Variety in breakfast is very limited and worst part is lift was broken and hotel don’t provide any help to take luggage upstairs.
The shower was corroded and leaking through the side. The one “pillow” they had on the bed was so thin it was useless. They blocked my access card before check out. Terrible experience
Disgusting hotel!! Got 2 rooms and when I went to my room, they were not ready. I had to wait 2 more hours to be cleaned. After 2 hours of waiting, got my room again and the bed was full of hair, the floor dirty, the bathroom also full of hair in the sync and all corners…
Had to call the agency to help with a new room because based on their comment the room was clean enough…
Elevator was not working, apparently for just few days but when I spoke with a guest who was staying there for longer he said that he never saw the elevator working.
Breakfast very poor, bread, tomato’s, cucumbers, boiled eggs, some disgusting cheese, ham and some pastries.
I have stayed here a couple of times before and greatly enjoyed the older but very good condition of the property (except the elevator that doesn’t work).
This time, however, we were put in a room that could only be called shabby….the rug, the curtains, and the table in particular, were just that.
The bed was comfortable. Everything including the bathroom was clean, the halls and downstairs fine.
It still is very convenient to the main train station.
We were allocated this hotel as a part of a wowcher mystery holiday. I'd read the reviews and thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt as we would only be sleeping there.
Lift still out of order but that wasn't an issue to us as they put us on the 1st floor and we only had back packs.
Reception was very friendly and welcoming.
Location was a 5 minute walk from the bus station.
The rooms are old but this is something that can be dealt with if the place is clean. However it was not and after finding cockroachs in the room/bathroom I just couldn't stay.
When I told the receptionist he didn't lol surprised and said he couldn't give me any money back.
Location is terrible. I travelled as a single parent (female) with my daughter and when we stepped out of the hotel and went for a walk I've never felt more unsafe.
Groups of men, groups of men smoking weed, people drinking alcohol in the street, people smoking crack as you walk passed them at 4pm.
My mama bear instincts kicked in and we moved hotel and location.
After we moved I saw videos on TT about the road we were on. It's well known for being the worst most unsafe road in Frankfurt which is prolific for crime and open crack and H use.
Women, children, families, do not stay in this area, it's very unsafe.
Nice location, close to the centre and next to public transport. Outdated and old fashioned hotel room. Hotel felt empty during stay, but the room fit its purpose of a good nights sleep.
The elevator in the hotel was out of order for our 7-night stay.
The refrigerator in my room did not work.
The hotel did not have air conditioning. We could open the windows, but there were no screens, so the mosquitoes came in. Trying to sleep while swatting at mosquitos does not make for a good night’s sleep.
When we booked the hotel, we wanted breakfast to be included. When we got there, we found this meant that breakfast was available for a fee.
The hotel was not in a desirable part of Frankfurt.
The bathroom was small but adequate.
The hotel was clean, and the room was taken care of every day.
Average hotel and services. Price of room was very reasonable. 2 mins walk to Frankfurt main train station. Lot of eateries and amenities very close to the hotel
Avoid at all costs, unless you like rats, no AC, broken elevator, broken fridge, and unclean everything
Hotel is mis selling dishonestly their rooms - they advertise air conditioning but it does not exist anywhere in the hotel. Also, rooms are filthy full of dust, staff are not the best and breakfast is overpriced and poor quality.
VERY DIRTY AND TERRIBLE AREA
Great location, great value, OK service, sketchy area at night.
Very convenient location, close to the main train station south exit. Easy to go everywhere. Staffs are nice.
If you are travelling with a heavy luggage, avoid this hotel. Their lift is not working for months. They don't have any plans to repair this.
Unable to check in till 7pm due to a tecnical glitch, elevator did not work and had 2 steep flights of steps to negotiate with a bad knee. Staff did help with luggage. Front desk staff very off hand . Would not stay here again.
Elevator broke down not fixed (at least during our 3nts 4day stay), we had to drag and carry our luggage upstairs and downstairs, luckily a young guest helped us carry the luggage downstairs during checkout.
No coffee maker nor water kettle or telephone in room.
Room temperature couldn't be adjusted , when we complained about the temperature was too cold at night to the front desk, the response we received from the male receptionist was: "the house keeping will clean your room in 2 hours" . Everyday we went downstairs passing by the front desk, we greeted the front desk receptionist"good morning " as our usual tradition but only received a cold face staring at us. The time we checked out, we were left unattended for exactly 10 minutes, no one was ahead of us. That receptionist was just doing his own chore and let us waiting.
Imaging if you were in a hurry trying to catch a train that was about to leave?!!
The only smile we received was from a lady receptionist at the time we checked in. We miss her very much!
Elevator was not working for days and I had to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs. It was really disappointing.
good location but not the most helpful staff and elevator not working is a nightmare.. no kettles in room as well is horrible ..wont stay there again
The hotel was fine, clean basic accommodation. The lady who checked me in was very nice. My problem was I had to leave very early (~04:30) for an early flight. I came down to the well-lit lobby to check out and there was no one at the desk, though a coat was on the chair. I called out hello several times without response. Meanwhile a homeless person outside had noticed me and started rapping on the window and speaking what sounded like gibberish and then rang the bell for the main entrance. I thought that might at least get the attention of the porter. No luck. Fortunately, after a couple of minutes the person outside lost interest and wandered away. I made my exit passing several other people sleeping outside and made the short walk to the Bahnhof without incident.
It was not good. As the lift was not working and the water was issue one day and others the water was not clean. The staff was not helpful at all.
We had to take all our bags to second floor where we were allotted the rooms.
I will never stay back there.
