The Westin Poinsett, Greenville

Love this hotel there have been updates as well. Situated right in the middle of everything Greenville.

We had a wonderful time at the Westin Poinsett. It was our first time to go to Greenville and we were so impressed. The hotel has a great location downtown with tree lined streets that had numerous restaurants and shops. I want to also mention the hotel concierge Janice Smith as she was such a great help in finding us restaurants.

The Westin Poinsett absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely kind - it felt like they truly cared about every detail of my stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant, timeless décor that makes every space feel both luxurious and inviting. The food was another highlight - fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, giving that perfect “homemade” touch you don’t always find in hotels. On top of everything, the location felt safe and convenient, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy the experience. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Every time I come to Greenville, I always stay at the Westin. Not only does it carry historical significance for the city, but the staff the food and the ambience is great… Plus, I always sleep like baby! Again, big cheers to the staff for them always going above and beyond.

The Fine folks at Westin on Main St., Greenville are outstanding. Kind, courteous and professional. They really make you feel like you are important and welcome. I absolutely will stay nowhere else but at the Westin Poinsett hotel in Greenville South Carolina when I am in town. I highly recommended to anybody. Located centrally and an easy walk to the Peace Center or anywhere else. Can’t wait to get back!

I stayed at The Westin Poinsett for a week during a business trip and was truly impressed with the experience. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained. It has a timeless charm that makes it feel special, while still being comfortable and welcoming.

My room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, which made a big difference during a busy work week. The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay, and that level of service did not go unnoticed.

The downtown location was also a huge benefit. It made everything very convenient and allowed me to enjoy Greenville a bit even while traveling for work.

The Westin Poinsett never disappoints. Tessa in Spoonbread made breakfast extra enjoyable. Melanie at the front desk was very helpful in making the stay a pleasure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Poinsett, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience—especially the exceptional service at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, efficient, and genuinely welcoming.

A special shoutout to Ariana at the front desk, who truly made a lasting impression. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warm personality and willingness to help immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. The new girl she was training was just as sweet and welcoming, which really speaks to the kind of team they’re building.

It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a beautiful place to stay, but also a team that genuinely cares about their guests.

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown greenville, first time there. Great and helpful staff except for one girl at front desk with dark hair was kind of rude more then once the few days I was there

Outstanding stay here. As an Ambassador status, treated very well. Melanie at front desk above and beyond. Very responsive in message / chat pre arrival. Gave local pointers when checking in. Always welcoming when I saw her. Made sure my FedEx was delivered to room. Was upgraded to nice suite.

Room great. Plenty of space. Excellent bed. Shower very good. Delivered welcome snacks fruit and cheese.

Concierge Janice was wonderful. Several spot on recommendations. Not the touristy places. The real solid local places. She’s fantastic.

Overall a 10 out of 10.

I have visited this location about 20 times over the years and keep coming back. Fantastic staff, great location, and they do a wonderful job of maintaining the historical flare of the building. Highly recommend.
On this visit, Melanie at the front desk and Savannah from the Sales office were both especially helpful! Thank you both for your help!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Valet CRASHED my brand new truck and did little to any effort to help me get it fixed. They gave me a $1000 to go away and I was left with an almost $7,000 bill + a rental car bill for 2 weeks. I’ve been extremely nice and just asked for some room credit to make up the difference because I’ve stayed here many times and they won’t even respond to any of my emails. So unprofessional. I really hope a higher up in the company can see this message. Neither of these people below will even respond to me.
