Not a good representation of the Marriot name.
Pros:

They catered our convention for a hefty cost. The food was not good and didnt seem fresh. They were limited meals because of the cost. They present themselves as a high end hotel and they are not. Housekeeping and front staff was great though.

Went from great, to what happened to this place…
Pros:

Where do I begin… I stayed here several times for work, all of which got more negative as time went one, that is what lead me here. I’m not typically one for writing reviews, but this will be changing hotels even though I am a committed Marriott Bonvoy member. The first time I was staying here in early May, I had a great calm experience. Was a short trip, but no complications or complaints, and overall friendly and welcoming staff. After summertime, I was back in October, which is when I had to start paying for parking through a third party, my ac wasn’t properly working, and the prices on their menu significantly increased and there was only one bartender working to keep the whole bar and restaurant happy. There seemed to be many changes occurring within the hotel as well. I was back again mid November, and my room wasn’t cleaned and ready for check in when I arrived around four. Had to sit in the bar waiting, alike many other guests, and finally checked in around 6/7, which was close to when my event I was attending started. Breakfast and lunch were no longer available and I was rushed through my checkout process and double charged for parking. Will not be staying here again.

Austin eben.

Daily Parking Fees for an empty parking lot. No Thanks!!
Pros:

Extremely Disappointed - Marriott Round Rock Management Missed the Mark

We've been loyal Marriott customers for years -- Platinum members who travel frequently, especially for college football. Marriott's long-standing support of NCAA sports has always resonated with us, and we've stayed at this particular property on La Frontera Boulevard many times because of its convenient location and consistently great restaurant.

However, our most recent stay (October 9, 2025) left us extremely disappointed with the new management policies. Out of nowhere, the hotel decided to start charging guests $12.50 per day for parking -- in an open, unsecured lot that is rarely full. To make matters worse, the process is a complete hassle: guests are now required to scan a QR code and pay separately through a third-party system.

When I asked the front desk to simply add the fee to my room charges, the clerk was polite but explained that their "system doesn't support that yet." In other words, management rolled out a new fee before they were even prepared to handle it properly.

What's most frustrating is that other Marriott properties recognize the loyalty of their Platinum guests and routinely waive these unnecessary parking fees. Instead, this location seems determined to nickel-and-dime its most loyal customers.

If the goal is to raise revenue, I urge management to be honest and adjust room rates slightly rather than imposing a "gotcha" fee that feels more like a penalty for staying loyal. This new policy is short-sighted, poorly implemented, and disrespectful to the very guests who have supported Marriott for years.

Until management reconsiders this move, we'll be staying elsewhere.

Pay to park & for wifi. Bed was hard.
Cons:

Once we got to the property we were instructed it was $12.99 to parking the hotel parking lot, it WAS NOT included in the price you already pay to stay. If you do not pay it, they charge your room $80!!!
WiFi was NOT FREE. It was $7. Can’t believe Marriott has resorted to such money grabs. While $20 is not a lot, I was completely blind sided by those additional charges. Furthermore, the bed was SO HARD. Not worth the price.
