Parking is rather difficult
Sehr gut Lage, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss vom Strand entfernt.
Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus (kosten aber zusätzlich).
Sehr nettes Personal, und es hat eine tolle Bar im Hause.
Typische Englisches und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück.

We can't wait to come back. We stayed in Crab Apple which was such a beautiful room and loved how the bathroom merges into the bedroom. We had the best night sleep in our massive bed and I loved the Victorian roll top bath so much I had 3 baths during my 1 night stay 😂 The location is fantastic- a short walk into town. We had a delicious breakfast and will definitely need to try dinner at the Arbour restaurant on our next stay. Thank you to our friendly and attentive servers, talented chefs and the attention to detail from house keeping!

The room was very varm. Our room was to close to the kitchen and felt you share room with the kitchen staff.
Lovely helpful and cheerful staff. Comfy bed with exceptionally comfy pillows - the best I've ever had in a hotel! Good shower and very clean. Lovely breakfast cooked to order.
As it was so hot (35 degree heatwave) it would have been nice to have air con but realise this is not possible in an eco friendly hotel, and a small portable fan was provided. It was also a bit strange to have the kettle and tea coffee tray in the wardrobe - but goes with the slight quirkiness of the hotel. These were very minor things and did not take away from the overall very good experience.

Fairly run down. Building had chipping paint. Gardens unkept and tatty. General maintenance not great

Sehr unbequeme kleine Betten, Zimmerausstattung sehr veraltet, im Sommer ohne Klima viel zu heiss. Wir haben 3 Tage Aufenthalt gebucht und nach einer Nachr abgebrochen.
Location was great, access to the town centre and bus routes very good.
Room was a good size, as was the bathroom.
We had a very good meal in the restaurant one evening.
A wedding took place on the second day of our stay, the Green House contacted us in advance to give us the opportunity to change our booking and minimised the effect it had on our stay.
Really would have preferred a sofa in the room rather than a bathtub.
As it was one of the hottest weekends of the year, some air conditioning would have been very welcome but a fan was provided.
Breakfast on our first morning was incredibly slow service - 45 minutes to get our cooked choices - but once it came it was good.
The room is very modern and comfortably furnished.
Location of the hotel to the beach is just a 5 mins walk away, and about the same by taxi into the town centre.
Great that the reception and bar are both 24 hours.
Has a lift, which is essential with heavy bags!

The fan in the room was really inadequate and the room felt more like sleeping in an air fryer.
Although a bottle of tap water was provided, and a jug of fresh milk offered at reception on check in; in 34 degree heat, a little fridge/minibar really would have made all the difference.
Waiting at breakfast to be seated, was chaotic. No real system and could have been done so much better.
Having to wait for the lift whilst housekeeping took priority over a customer, is really poor.
Air con would really make a massive difference in this hotel and get so many bookings.

The only things that let it down was the bed was a little uncomfortable and breakfast was very slow.
Our 3rd visit and never disappointed. Staff go over and above. We ate both nights in the restaurant Arbor ~ both meals were outstanding.

The Deluxe room we had was so spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend upgrading although if it’s only the room for a night you need then I’m sure the double rooms are equally beautiful and cost less.
The breakfast was amazing , 10/10 there. The gentleman serving in the morning is outstanding at his job.
We sat in the garden a couple of nights after coming back from the town and had a drink from inside the hotel, prices very reasonable and staff accommodating.
Location is uphill from the town but luckily not too far but bear this in mind.
My only small gripe is that you need fresh milk for tea/coffee when you arrive but there is no fridge to keep it in so it’s pointless really. Also we had minimal sugar sachets and tea bags which were clearly forgotten by housekeeping. But overall that’s a tiny observation, everything was wonderful.
