We felt welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. The hotel has friendly staff who understand five-star service, yet they create a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. We were especially touched when the staff showed us to our room and shared some of the hotel’s history with us. It’s clear that every member of staff is proud to work in such a special place.
The hotel itself is truly exceptional, with a lovely atmosphere, stunning views, a beautiful pool, and swim platforms next to the sunbeds so you can enjoy the scenery and swim in the sea. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel also benefits from an excellent location, within walking distance of everything and close to the centre of Amalfi Town.
The room was great however they could update furniture e.g., headboard and desk. The TV was tiny and very old fashioned but we spent most time by the gorgeous pool and looking at the views so it didn’t really matter.
Location and retro style of the hotel
Initially i was given a room where i could not even stand in the bathroom, hotel site should clearly mention that people above 6 Ft height will find it inconvinient or must allocate a different room.
Otimo café da manhã, localização sensacional, equipe atenciosa e prestativa. A piscina a beira mar é um show a parte.
Tudo perfeito
Location and staff
Internet connection was sliw
Outstanding location, breathtaking views, the most friendly and helpful staff. Both restaurants were great, we particularly enjoyed our meal on the deck of the restaurant in the main hotel. Pool area fabulous. This 800 year old monastery is a very special place.
Nothing
Great location, amazing historical building, good private pool area with access to the sea.
La piscina es espectacular, las vistas son impresionantes.
We were so happy that extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights.
Breakfast was amazing! Service was good
There are two Luna Hotels. Very confusing
Our view and our terrace were absolutely amazing. The bar tender was extremely nice. This hotel is in almost every single picture or painting of Amalfi. It is truly historic and in an incredible location.
The Amalfi Lemon experience is within walking distance and is a must do experience. Revello is a short car ride and Positano is a short boat ferry away.
We just wish they had lotion in the bathroom.
Location and view were amazing! Hotel is clean and breakfast was good.
No updates in many years and quite expensive.
A converted convent so the bed rooms are not large but the hotel, which was the first in Amalfi, was full of character. The stall were excellent as was the restaurant, good breakfast. Great views from our little balcony all rooms fade the sea
Very little
Wow - not much else to say. The view was sensational, the location was perfect, and the staff were so friendly and hospitable and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Francisco (I believe was his name) was wonderful and kind with our 2 year old daughter, and we enjoyed his enthusiasm to serve. The hotel were also kind enough to leave a bottle of bubbly for us in the room to celebrate our mini-moon. The food in Torre Saracena was also fantastic and we would highly recommend. The pool was also great and the pool staff were very hospitable.
It's quite a walk up the hill from the centre of Amalfi (even if not long), so would recommend one of the taxi-cart services if you have luggage. The hotel did arrange this for us to return to the ferry.
