I was impressed with the customer service when we first arrived. The smell of the hotel was clean and inviting. Housekeeping staff was superb. Our room was clean and fresh smelling

Cons:

My only disappointment was breakfast. For the past 10 years we have stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown in the Old Market. With all the construction in the area we decided to stay somewhere different for our anniversary. The Doubletree turned out to be a very good choice.

Probably won’t stay there again.
Pros:

Beds were comfy

Cons:

TV didn’t work. No remote to it. Asked for remote, was given a remote and told to program it ourselves. Couldn’t get it programmed. Gave it back at check out and told them again it didn’t work. Then they told us it wasn’t even the right remote to any of their TVs. Housekeeping woke us up twice, before 9:00. They tried to just walk in.
